I'm having some fun with the game and am enjoying it, but I've only got a steam deck to play it on now and some of these issues are too big to overlook. the stuttering and for me and my family the biggest issue is the lack of family sharing. so I'll revisit this review when those are fixed.

This is one of my comfort games and I find myself going to it in times of need. That might seem like an odd thing to say about a game where you're dodging bullets from plants, but I love it! Something about getting into a groove and building up a nice farm. When you've got a good run going and everything falls into place..so so good. It's one of my favorite games and I own it on every platform.

Vampire Survivors is a game I started on my Mac and was one of the main reasons I wanted a Steam Deck. Playing this game is out here hitting me with all sorts of Dopamine every second. I no longer need to scroll X or TikTok and instead of time to do one or two runs. Planning my builds throughout that thirty minutes has me thinking about it in an otherwise mindless game. I also really enjoy the unlocks by reaching for goals or trying to get new characters. I don't even know if this is making sense right now, but boy oh boy do I enjoy this game.
