This is super disappointing. I've been playing Payday since the heist was new when the game just felt like a L4D mod. I get the defenders who are saying "it'll be good", "the new stealth mechanics are fun". Yes the stealth mechanics are fun, but the fact i have to connect to the multiplayer servers to play solo is stupid. The fact if you try to do a heist out of order punishes you with 0 XP, is ridiculous. Yes i get that they don't want us to ECM/Bomb rush but, but the fact i can't even launch a map because it "Matchmaking Error: Matchmanking Error, return to main menu, return to login. Quit". I played OB it was fun i was really looking forward to full release but the fact i even waited to play it until maybe the servers would be tested abit more, just to end up playing the first mission for 20 mins, then spending 44 mins trying to launch another mission or even the same mission. It's rediculous.

Congrats payday 3 you're the first game in my many years of using steam to ask for a refund. I'd rather just wait 2 years and pick it up for 5 dollars when you try to get us all back. 40 bucks is cheap for a game these days and i don't even think it's worth that.

Yes i recomend this game, However... Keep in mind if you want the game to run correctly you might have issues.

Story, is much better then i remember

Aesthetics, have been updated from the 2004 version they look decent but you can mod them further.

Workshop integration, very surprising works great haven't run into many issues for the mods i've installed. I highly recommend modding, at the very least if you run into a bug and blame the mod you can usually find out it wasn't the mod and the .ini folder is just wrong.

Bugs, They "patched" a few of them since 2004 however the steam version's Ini file has borked coding and cutscenes crash your game there are "fixes" to these problems, that you'll probably have to bounce around the internet and forums that are 7-8 years old of people figuring out how to fix them.

Is it Fun? i bought this purely because I bought the first one. KoToR 1 was one of my favorite game when i was a kid. Came free when I got my Xbox. When KoToR 2 dropped i was so excited. The bugs made it hard but i had for sure way more playtime of KoToR 2 over 1. I bought it purely for nostalgia, if it wasn't for the bugs KoToR 2 would be WAY better than KoToR 1. Even with the bugs it's probably still more enjoyable, with the new mechanics and rework on the mini games.

I'd say this game is a 6/10, if you somehow don't have bugs i'm sure you're ranking would be way higher. Once you figure out how to fix the issues i'd say its a solid 8/10 but you have to work on it. Even then you'll probably still have grass textures strenched across dantooine.

Can highly recommend this game, I played Don't Starve single player since it's alpha release can't say i've bought most of the single player DLCs but Don't Starve Together gives you the chance to enjoy the DLC features without spending as much money. This game can be enjoyed single player or in a group both feel great, single player "can" be overwhelming for new players as the boss health scales differently on DST but very fun if you know what your doing. I will say i was given DST for free because i owned DS single player since alpha, How ever i do still recommend it for it's price DLC characters don't feel too overpowered and it's just as easy/challenging with a DLC character vs with a non DLC character.

One of the strong points of DST vs DS is that there are different/newer characters to add spice to your game play. I do own all the "DLC" characters all of which are enjoyable in their own right. DST is seemingly constantly being updated which is very nice as well.

Mod support is pretty strong within this community most of which can easily be installed via steam and activated in game. Mods range from characters to mobs to even weather and effects, most of which are easy to install.

All and all i'd say 8/10 it's a fun game if you like these types of games, the art style is great the music is great. But after playing it over and over again it can get a bit boring but that's the same for any game. Also ♥♥♥♥ the deer clops.

Good game, small short great at passing time in small bursts.
I recommend using a controller, not that PC controller are bad but it's much better movement with a controller.
The game itself if mildly addicting, you really never know whats around the corner. 1 min your "meta" playing next thing you know your main carry gets turned into an anime girl who explodes in the next few events which can always make thing interesting. i do wish the character types were a bit more balanced, there are some that are just useless yet cost so much to unlock/max out IE archer where the bow itself is ok of a weapon but as a main weapon it's just so slow and you end up never using it. those kind of things aside it's fun a game to play.

i'd rate this 7/10
great game to pass time
would be a great mobile game

I'm not going to sit here and tell you this game is 10/10 the best game ever, I've now played it for a while. I've found parts to be a bit grindy, the bosses either WAY to easy or WAY to hard. The crafting system is by far one of the most annoying things I've found in an online game to date many things taking 12 hours + to craft some even taking UP TO A WEEK to craft just to craft (equinox) assuming you've found all the parts all at once. This game will make you believe in the RNGesus and all his disciples. However if your willing to overlook the crafting system and the RNG your going to have some of the most fun in a shooting game that you can. This is a very fast paced game probably to make up for the crafting times, its fun and its a game you'll find yourself playing for WAY more then you intended too.

I'll be honest when I first started playing this game I saw it as PURELY pay to win, that it was going to be a waste of time and when I saw how long it took me to craft a decent rifle I quit for a week. I had decided to give it another chance and I'm glad I did and by that point my rifle had been done for quite some time. As I started getting deeper into this game trying out the different classes really diving into the weapon customizations, I started seeing this game like I had no other. This game is what you put into it and i don't mean from your wallet, mostly everything you can pay for with real money you can make. This is one of the only games I've ever played that does this but the only currency between players is Platinum which is the "real life money", at first you might be thinking screw that i'm not playing this purely on that basis. What this actually means is you don't have to pay a dime ever you can sell stuff you get ingame for platinum to other players and in a short time have enough platinum to do what you want with it. You can even rush those god forsaken crafting times (well played DE) for a small fraction of the cost it would be to pay for the weapon outright with plat. True someone does have to pay to keep the market going, and at times you might even find yourself paying for plat when you told yourself you'd never do it just to get that one thing you've been farming for.

The combat in this game at times can be intense, since the parkour update they can be even more so. At first your going to be lost theres so much going on and all you came to do is shoot things but you just keep going down and other people just seem to take no damage and your going down faster then a stone droped in a wet paper bag, but suddently you realise your not limited to the battle ground and you start useing your warframe powers more. Suddently your the one helping up the new people who seem as lost as you once did, then you realise just how far you've come. EVERY warframe is different some are SO DRASTICLY unlike any other class in games today which is a refreshing experience to play them. Some classes are similar but there are so many that you can find your niche, be that the Damage dealer, Defender classes, the Imortal tank, The Sneaky Troll, The Annoying Troll and so on.You get the option to change between missions as well as mod you armor or weapon, and if your lost there are plenty of youtube videos that go indepth into each class and how to use it. Or you can find your own way be the frame you want to be its fully up to you. The weapons in this game are very diverse and you might go though the game and say I LOVE THIS THING AND I'LL ALWAYS LOVE THIS THING, then find something you had NO IDEA was even a thing and now you love that thing more. For instance the Archery in this game is FANTASTIC, I tend to want to play as an archer in most MMO's but I always find that they fall short or slow and at first the bows in this game seem... slow but with the right upgrades you can change their draw back speed and turn them into litteral quick snipers. The Firearms are great and they range greatly from grenade launchers to gatlin guns to beam weapons that also shoot glowing cube mines you shoot and they chain explode a whole battle feild, but nothing compares to that satifaction of useing a bow shooting and pinning an enemy to the ceiling via some body part and being able to jump into the sky and use bullet time and just snipe with a bow while in mid air is just so wonderful. Say you like the effect of bows but can't stand the draw back speed they have an assualt rifle and pistols that shoots small bolts that also pin enemies to walls. Pretty much if you can think of a gun they probably have it and then many you never thought of.

This game is incredibly well run, in all the time i've played i've never seen down time. Even when they patch the game they have 2 servers they switch when the patch is ready meaning your not waiting for hours or even days before you can play again which every other mmo I've played takes the main server down to patch it. This game can be pay to win but most of the good things in this game you can't buy including faction weapons or clan items (unless bought from other players). This is a REALLY good game if your on a budget and you know you don't want to pay to win but you still want to veg out and play a shooting game and not feel like a baby throwin peas at your enemies because you didn't pay that 2 dollars for an assualt rifle. The comunity of this game ranges as does any MMO, but i've found 6 times out of 10 a person would much rather help a friend out then screw a guy over, which is rare to find now-a days. I recomend starting with friends but be aware party's are locked at four people except end game raids.

If I were to rate this game from 1 to 10, I'd have to section it off because an overall number would just not do it justice.

Gameplay:
9/10

Story:
6/10 (the story is getting a lot better and gives me hope for a more immersive plot line)

Crafting:
5/10 (massive deduction for craft time but a boost for the range of things you can craft)

Team Play:
8/10 (a lot of classes go really well with one another making a much more fun game play)

Comunity:
8/10

Classes:
7/10 (only because of crafting time for said classes. Example; Equinox taking a minimum of 156 hours to create)

Trading System:
2/10 (there is one, thats the only positive thing i can say about it)

Clearly if you've read this far you should really give this game a try. If you like space, If you like guns and shooting things with massive amounts of different weapons this game will do you well if you don't then you wont.
