lmao ya'll were absolutely wrong. this game is a fricking banger. after the demo everything feels so much smoother, balanced and the networking is SO MUCH smoother.
literally a 9/10. I almost beat zone 1 first try but accidentally rerolled my lightning off my hellstorm :(

honestly, its fascinating for the first 2 hours. but then you wish that there were 10x more spells. the dungeon content is nice and the freedom is nice too. but the voice recognition isnt the greatest. and there isnt a lot of freedom to what I thought I could say to skully.
its a nice game but its lackluster in a lot of areas.

every other server "level 25+, level 50+"
new players welcome: "to be a squad leader be level 50+"
meanwhile all the squads are locked with passwords, well. if I want to play the game I need to create a squad then.

This has been the best monster hunter game I've ever played in my life. The game feels smooth at 120 frames + frame gen on and the little bits of detail within every single touch of the game looks exceedingly stunning.

I 100% recommend.

I have to make a review about this.
the game itself is good but the creators just released a DLC where you pay $10 to be a woman. There's so many things I want to say but all I can say is that 10 dollars for a couple incomplete cosmetics is a HUGE cash grab. especially for a DLC to AN EARLY ACCESS GAME.

9.99 base game
4.99 different suit color alterations
4.99 winter suits
9.99 female bodies

the price for the base game is fine, infact good. but at most these cosmetic DLC's are worth 50 cents or MAXIMUM a singular US dollar

I do not trust this dev team anymore unless they delete the DLC's. new bodysuits just to show off thick thighs is a HUGE turn off. I liked it that everyone was the same with different eyes. its like adding big bazooka cans to an among us character. 100% not necessary dude..

I'll change this review if they rectify this. but I don't condone cash grabbing. EVEN if its optional.

Just fixed my issue, apparently it *was* OpenXR. I figured I switched it wrong and tried again and it decided to work.

I've only done arena so far. but from what I'm playing the combat feels really good and strategically learning the enemies is a refreshing experience.

Will recommend, but know content is a little lackluster from what I'm seeing

as someone who has been playing for exceptionally a long time. this has to be by far the #1 vr game I've ever seen. I cant pick up any other vr game because of B&S

this game made me connect with my best friend in ways I didnt even know exist. this game has made me so happy and the OST is just way too good. I cannot recommend this enough

I absolutely love space marine 2. here is my honest review

my experience:
I have maxed out my bulwark, sniper and working on tactical, assault and heavy.
I have completed all difficulties on all operations (including lethal)
I have partly completed story but wasn't too interested in it from the start.
I have not touched PvP

my review and opinions. please remember opinions vary per person as people with common sense should know.

Pros:
Level Design is phenomenal and meets up to standards for good 40k games.
Operations are extremely fun and re-playable
Team Cohesion is VERY important, this game requires strategy more for the higher difficulties.
Most people complain about the network but I've personally never experienced bad network issues, bear in mind I have dog water WiFi (my max download speed is 3.1 MB/s [25 Mbps] and my avg. ping is around 60-70)
Color Customization is very good especially without being limited to specific Astarte chapter looks. sorry but I love being a Black Templar sniper with hints of red lol.
Weapons all feel good especially with the new bolter buffs!

Cons:
At the time of this review there are only 7 operations, more are being made though
Some classes don't meet up to standard for Lethal difficulty (highest difficulty) i.e being Assault and Vanguard and maybe Heavy. Best team load-out is a Sniper, Bulwark and Tactical I wont explain but I've always lost with anyone without those 3 main classes. This is probably debatable but that's just in my experience. its possible they all do
Zoanthropes are EXTREMELY annoying without a Sniper using a Las Fusil. (this is probably just a me issue honestly)
pretty low replay-ability after you beat all 7 operations and level all classes up


overall I think space marine 2 is an amazing game. I'm a simple man and don't need that much replayability to keep playing a game so its a game I'll be lingering on when I complete all of it. Do not let the cons hesitate you from purchasing. I feel like I am getting more than my money's worth. but I'd recommend only buying the standard edition. everything higher is just iffy cosmetics.

You will hear people complain of the tankiness of enemies, and actually I like this system more than anything. if an enemy is too tanky for you then you need to focus on building better and upgrading to kill them faster. Thats also where team Cohesion comes in. If all the Majoris enemies were easy to kill there wouldnt really be a challenge, minoris enemies are just background static once you learn how to parry properly.


Its a great game, people having a hard time on higher difficulties probably dont have their gear set up properly for the enemies they are facing. This is not an insult but a lot of people just have an issue with skill when it comes to higher difficulties. easier difficulties are you know..easier. Lethal is definitely a challenge but its not painful with the right team. I met 2 guys on quick match and we beat all 7 operations on lethal in 3-5 hours it was so incredibly easy because we all knew exactly what our job was and how to do it.
I'm probably gonna get some rage baiters in the comments but this is how I see it. and most of my friends are too wuss to even attempt lethal when they havent even touched it so.
