Its by Industry Standard a 10/10 Game, for People that like Souls Like Ball torture Grindmachines ...

If i think Path i think a relaxing Game that i can enjoy dopamine Kicks in my evenings bashing through mapping listening to some Drum and Bass, having a good Time. I usually avoided PoE1 Mechanics that went into the super Tryhard Ballpark, i was happy when i got over the hardcore experience that is Lab and i was happy that mechanics like sanctum and ultimatum that strike the same approach were optional.
I was happy i only took 6-7 hours on leaguestart to get through the Campaign and hit the fun customizable Endgame in which i get to do my easy mode mechanics and grind away in peace and get rich doing so.
Dont get me wrong i won a Demigods in PoE 1 im not a complete filthy casual and have done my share of racing and been deep into the matter with 14k hours but what i ended up enjoying the most was the light side of PoE 1 ... Life is tough enough i dont need my video Games to be as tough.

In my PoE 2 Playthrough im at the end of act 3 with 29 hours in the books and about 90 deaths on my character... Im running ED Contagion .. im using a wither totem multiple auras, get power charges and spend those for empowered zombies that spread the contagion additionally ... the Tree is solid the skills are solid ... but everything feels like a drawn out experience...
Way to many bosses, way to big maps, i just want to finally be in endgame yet i played 30 hours almost and am not even in the great section where i have to do it all again before my FIRST character is finally in endgame not to even mention the twinks that i would like to make since there is so much to try ...
The Good stuff is that in PoE 1 you were able to take 2 weeks off and invest 200-300 hours grind into a league and in that time frame you were able to see it all and experience it all and get to your t17s and your uber bosses...
With PoE 2 my hope that leagues are gonna be fun in these 2 weeks is fading fast.

I reccomend this game to a hardcore crowd that enjoys ball torturing video games like souls likes... that want to fight for every square inch. Progress slowly, overanalyze every detail of their Build even while still in Campaign and take out the spread sheets and start optimizing. To players that get motivation for finally having beat that boss they were stuck on
For all u guys its a 10/10 and its so polished, good looking and well made.

But for You endgame speed run grindy guys that just love the reward of loot and spinning the machine to get uber powerful overtime and trash entire screens... for the people that enjoy and get motivated by the build possibilitys and power fantasy... this is a 7/10 game at best and while its still worth trying i can not reccomnend it in its current state.

As i know how it went for PoE 1 and that leagues kept on adding player power and faster pace over time until poe started to become what i love with leagues like breach 2.7 etc ... My hopes are high that PoE 2 is gonna take the same route and the game will be more what i prefer in a few years. Until then im prolly just gonna occasionally play some.. right now it feels like an uphill work battle that you get forced to shove down your throat before even being able to try endgame and i dont have 700-800 hours to invest in a league each league.

EDIT: My Critique still stands, the Maps are to big and the Movement Skills are to little, yet at this point some people have found broken enough builds that make the game feel more like PoE 1 ... i managed to get a character into red mapping in about 30 Hours opposed to the Starting 60 + on ED Contagion ... I changed the review to positive as being fast into endgame is still a thing now... all be it it crucially depends how they keep on developing player power in this game ... if it stays rough and they nerf the builds that make it fun itll not be a game for me ... if it gets easier and they buff the rough builds itll be a Grinding Game as it should be and ill play it.

I needed a Game for 4 Days of bolemic gaming. Im an avid Anno, Civ and Banished Enjoyer so i gave it a Try.

My Core Review is positive and i think the game is easily worth the 19 Euro you pay for it. You can easily spend 50-100 Hours in it in its current state.

In more Details:
Graphics: 7/10 Good enough for a Strategy game like that
Audio: 6/10 I really hate the Bong sounds and their frequents when ♥♥♥♥ hits the fan
Simulation Gameplay: 9/10 One of the best i played, right up there with banished
Carddraw Gameplay: 6/10 I wish Wild Cards werent a thing but it makes for fun Starts, just gets meaningless in Endgame
Strategy Gameplay: 7/10 Your Decisions matter, they just get to easy at some point, misses some depth
AI: 3/10 Horrific barely something to entertain you
MP: 9/10 Glorious way more fun to play it with friends
Hardware optimization: 7/10 had like 3 crashes in 50 hours gameplay.

The fact that a single Guy develops this is outright Impressive, and the Potential this game has with some more updates and finetuning is amazing, lets just hope he keeps at it and makes Endgame better, plays into the unique strength of this game which imo is the Card draw factor and youd have my strategy game of the year.
In its Current State its nice to play for 50-100 Hours and deserves a buy ... at the end of its eearly access it could be a Game ill play over and over.

This game is a quite unique Experience. You will definitely get your moneys worth, if you are into grindy games, where there is a lot of different approaches and activitys to be done and you can find your own niche as to what you would like to do in a mmo environment and you like isometrical games this is for you! It pairs Grand Strategy, Action and Survival Gameplay very well!

Das Spiel ist im Early Access und hat daher Definitiv noch Probleme mit Ladezeiten, Unreal Engine Crashes und Bugs wie Soundausfällen etc. Es fehlt auch noch einiges an Ausstattung für Die Amerikaner Layouts und so weiter.

Abgesehen davon ist es DAS Spiel was Battlefield 2 und 1942 Mods wie Project Reality und dergleichen nach ALL der Zeit wieder am nächsten Kommt. Ein Spiel mit einem 2. Weltkrieg Setting was den Taktischen Part von Schlachten wieder richtig macht, mit einer guten Rollenverteilung und vielen Möglichkeiten in der Gruppe als Squad spaß zu haben.

Das Spiel ist perfect geeignet für 4-6 Mann Gruppen die einfach mal wieder einen Kooperativen Strategie Shooter spielen wollen. Ich habe das Feeling und die Immersion des Krieges in den letzten Kriegs Shootern doch sehr vermisst und die Umsetzung ist nicht unnötig verkompliziert was mein Problem mit Arma 3 war. Es ist intuitiv und einfach mit diesem Spiel spaß zu haben und mit ein bisschen Teamplay wird man es lieben

Wenn es voll released wird und bis dahin die kritischen Bugs behoben wurden und der fehlende Content geadded bekommt dieses Spiel eine 9/10 von mir Momentan ist es aber dennoch eine Starke 7/10.

Im enjoying this Game a lot! Made me less angry about the Time i have to wait on Mount and Blade II Bannerlord! :)

The Game is awesome im having Tons of fun and its definitely worth its 60$. 8.5/10 game for me ... only thing is they really need to work on Online Session Instancing and Server Capacity.. aswell as there are imo some Problems with to high CPU Usage in comparison to other games ... Give us a Patch in the next month with Fixes and Performance Upgrades and this can definitely get my Vote for Game of the Year Awards! :)

I had a Ton of fun with this even though it was in a pretty buggy state when i played it! Hope they further optimise the Game, i might even give it another go at some point! :)

Had so much fun with this and all of its mods and addons! You should definitely play Mount and Blade! Can´t wait for the Second game to finally come out at some time! :)

Easily one of the most Gripping Games i ever played ... One of the best RPGs on the same Tier as Skyrim and for me at least the Gothic Series and Dragon Age ...

Also in my Opinion one of the fairest Games when it comes to DLC!
