Pretty good looter shooter.

Needs more mission and enemy variety.

Not as bad as everyone thinks, give it some time and it will prob be even better.

Keeping it short.

The game is good so far, but it's missing lots of QoL improvements.
Also performance is not good at all, gpu utilization is really bad on PC.

*TIP; Don't use DLSS, it will lower your fps even more due to bad utilization. And don't listen to the people that try to tell you that you can "Force" the game to run with DX 11, it's not how it works.*

Combat is kinda hit or miss, sometimes you get killed while locked in animations or you need to constantly dodge because of 100 guns/drones. Sometimes everything flows perfectly and feels pretty awesome.

After 20+ hours i still find the combat to be fun after unlocking more abilities, but it's bland the first few hours of the game.

Also the movement system is kinda weird at the moment, sometimes when you try to drop down places and stealth "kill" someone you will end up propelling forward into a wall and awkwardly stand there for several seconds. But it seems like they know about this issue, but i have no clue when it will get fixed.

It's hard to recommend this game, but it's not bad and i do enjoy it.

If you're looking for more Arkham Knight forget it, this is something else entirely and you should not compare it.

But if you're a fan of DC in general and you like RPG elements then go for it, i'm sure they will improve the game after launch. It's still pretty fun with all the bugs, but it does get frustrating at times.

Before you read any reviews about this game, remember that most of them is about the microtransactions and how they are handling them. You have to grind a lot in order to get the skins from the store if you don't want to buy them. But remember that it's only skins, nothing else.

Also most of the negative reviews is about the unstable early access, which should be solved now. So that should be irrelevant information if you want to buy the game after the official release.

But i have to say, this is one of the best PC ports i have played this generation. Even though i have everything on ultra i get steady 144+ fps with my 2080 TI. And yes i know, 2080 TI is pretty overkill for 1440p but i felt like leaving it here incase someone wonders.

After playing all the GoW games with my controller i can with safety say that i prefer KBM. You might have some issues with wall bouncing for PvP and stuff. But the trade off with more accuracy feels worth it. Atleast for me. So you don't need to play this game with a controller, it actually feels way better with KBM. But it might take some time getting used to.

When it comes to the story, several people dislike Kait. She's the main character you're going to play as. I don't understand why everyone cares so much about genders in this game and all that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. I just play and enjoy it, doesn't matter for me if it's male or female. But i do actually enjoy playing as her, and the fact that the levels is more open-world'ish feels great.

The only downside so far is that horde feels worse compared to GoW 4. There is more restrictions and the character you like visually might not have the weapons you prefer and such. I wish they changed it so everyone could buy the weapons they wanted to. Just give some characters bonus dmg with some weapons instead. Not lock you entirely into using the retro lancer and the gnasher.

But if you like the GoW franchise or are completely new to the series, i highly recommend to give it a shot. Just ignore the people that whines about genders and stuff. it dosen't matter if you play as a male or female. It's a game.

Also this is my personal opinion, but i also recommend to start playing the story on the hardest difficulty. It feels great when you actually have to hide and think before you engage in combat. Instead of running around with a shotgun and one-shotting everything.

Get the game if you like the following;

1. Lots of grinding.
2. Tower Defense CO-OP.
3. Hard Bosses.
4. Base Building.
5. Good Story.
6. You like Dead rising / Fortnite.

Dont get this if you want another Metal Gear Solid experience, you will not get it at all. The characters aren't even close to what they were in Phantom Pain.

This is more like Dead Rising and Fortnite mixed with the FOX Engine and some Metal Gear lore.

And no you dont pay for another save slot, its a Character slot that shares recourses with your other characters.

If you keep logging in daily you wont even need to spend any cash on it, due to coin rewards.

I usually dont play games as long as i did with this, so in my opinion it's far from bad, but it's also far from perfect.

If you want a new Metal Gear Solid game stay away from this.

If you want a good survival game with Crystal Zombies, go ahead and try it.
