I went into this thinking it was just gonna be a funny flash game. I was very wrong. It definitely has characteristics from that time, but it has a lot more content that I would have ever expected. It's a slapstick RPG with turn based combat, and you can build your character in any way you want. Love it!

Good if you're into pain and old jewellery.

Seriously though, it's great.

Cool concept, well executed, though a bit short

It's good fun, but grindy as all hell. There's currently only one game mode, and two different ways of playing (survivor and killer).

I do recommend if you don't mind the grind.

Early Access Review
Pretty neat game so far!

It's open world with most of the map being undiscovered. To discover more of the map, you'll need to find beacons and mission areas. Both can be fast traveled to when discovered.

You can edit and reset your robot any time you want to, which is really nice since it means you don't have to commit to a single robot for each mission. You're free to add and remove parts, or even build a pre-set blueprint if you so wish.

Completing missions will net you money, which you can spend on parts to use on future missions. You can buy individual parts with the money you get, and since some parts are really expensive you have to be smart with how you spend your money. You can also do side quests for extra money, and some of the quests even unlock parts that will become unlocked so you can buy them.

There are also construction projects that will appear when you've delivered enough materials to a certain spot. Some of the projects will be purely cosmetic, and some will serve a purpose, like bridges.

I've only got 3 hours in it so far, but I've been enjoying myself a lot! Definitely recommend if you're into sandbox games and creative problem solving.

This game is great!
The gameplay is super smooth, with relatively simple controls. You can customize your weapons, invest in modifiers, build relationships with characters, customize your house, fish, and you can even pet Cerberus.

The game sets you up to fail in the beginning which I thought I wouldn't like, but the story is interesting enough to make it a non issue. I've got one clear after 23 hours, and yet it feels like I've somehow just scratched the surface of the game. I think I've seen maybe one or two duplicate voice lines so far, and there are a lot of them!

Normally I'm not really a roguelike fan, but I really recommend Hades. This is one of the games worth testing with the refund limit.
