People have said it all in comments, if you did like the base game, BUY THIS ONE TOO!!

So, now i found Quake 2 at 2023 and i'm enjoying it a lot. It's really my first time playing it and i admit that it's satisfying to play and it's fun. So Quake 2 family out there, please open your arms and give me a hug!

New released episode was really good, i really loved that there was many boss fights around. Right now i'm at The Reckoning and i really like it too, the new weapons especially are so satisfying.

Why i never give any attention to Quake 2 before? Well... I don't know..

So, Deluxe Edition buyers just got scammed by Sega. We already paid 45€ of the Deluxe which had to include "everything", but that doesn't exist anymore, so again, we have to pay 10,99€ to still get the latest content? Wow... can you imagine paying nearly 60 euros of all these editions just to play the full version? And now, new buyers just get the full pack for 39,90€.

Something strange happened to me.

Few weeks ago i got a feeling, "hey what about Quake?" and i thought no, Quake is not for me, it doesn't interest me at all.. Well then i search from Steam and found out "What, here's cool looking new port for it", at the same week my brains told me every damn day "Hey, you should really consider Quake" and after a week, i bought it... and guess what?
I GOT ADDICTED TO IT!

Now i have finished the game in nightmare skill level with all achievements (sad there wasn't more) and that was no any struggle for me, i died few times while playing all episodes in a row.

As much as i love old retro shooters, i always wondered what made Quake so special, but now i can understand it, it was the first fully 3d FPS game, with satisfying gunplay and you can really feel that.

I love build engine and Blood especially, Quake never did interest me, I did try it once per ten years, but it felt so metallistic and basic. I'm so glad we have NightDive Studio to remaster old classics, the port is great and anybody who's like me, i can really recommend to give a shot, really...

I was never much interested of Powerslave, but i had to play this, because it's part of history and i love old retro games.

I finished the game in Pharaoh difficulty and it was nice challenge. Guns were great and few different type of enemies and 3 different bosses.

I like that you can travel between levels and restock ammo and health, also was fun to hunt some transmitter and artifact items, which helped you in further levels. Anks gave you a lot more health, which i really needed in pharaoh difficulty.

But levels was very linear and hitboxes weird, which just made it even more challengsive. My powerslave career is now done. : ) GGs.

You really must play this game! Even better in coop mode! 6/5, can't wait to see new content someday!

So Spelunky 1 was too easy so they had to make this game 2x harder... This is my neutral review.

One of the best build engine game, if you like any of these like Duke3d, Blood, SW or RR then this is must buy!

It's just damn well made and the level design is epic! (well, Blood is the bestest build engine game!)

This game was too easy, so i started to play Runescape.
