Not enjoyable if you aren't enough players, infinite spawns makes it just not possible to play

games needs more time and should let players adapt the game difficulty for 1-2-5-8 players not a default option

The review bombing just for the Menu UI is too much, yes, it needs changes and it's gonna happend, they announced changes will come, but overall, the update is great, game looks really clean, the centered crosshair is a gamechanger, the new map is really great, good views, verticality, playing in mines

The game is still blocked in 2/3rd of the world because Sony made the decision to block countries from buying the game, because PSN is blocked overthere already, they lied to players and nobody cared, they applied it to Ghost of Tsushima and for God of War Ragnarok, which are OFFLINE games, Sony s*cks

Cheater land, unplayable, impossible to " grind " no fun at all, bring back CSGO, or do something Valve, you have the money, the power and the knowledge to do it, USE THOSE BILLIONS YOU DO ON CASES FOR SOMETHING USEFUL

Huge info for the people with a low budget config :

The RTX effect is on whatever computer/setup you have, you need to turn everything off via the settings in game files after you installed the game

C:\Users\*YOUR_USER*\AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Darktide\ and click on something called : "user_settings"

then you scroll a bit until you find this :

rt_light_quality = false
rt_mixed_reflections = false
rt_particle_reflections_enabled = false
rt_reflections_enabled = false

and you copy everything i've written, it's gonna turn off the RTX effect and you will get like 20+ fps ingame
If the config file keeps resetting, set it to read only after changing the parameters.

I can't recommend the game, there is nothing that works compared to the 1st game that was a masterpiece.

The story is less interesting than an h*ntai game you can find at 5€ on this plateform, the list of game is even longer than the number of words of the storyline of the game.
I'm serious, the story doesn't make sens and is way too simple compared to the 1st game, the guy travelled thousands of miles just to search his sister he lost 10 years in the middle of a zombie appocalypse, like seriously ? Then, during the game, obvious things happends like you can be a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ devin while playing the game, a lot of things doesn't make sense, there is events that happends because those events are called "This is here for scenario".

The side quests aren't interesting at all it's either " Take this, go here under 2 minutes " or " Find this things and comeback to me, oh and btw you have to do this 6 times but not at the same time LOL " and that's it, there was like 2 interesting side quests but that's it, nothing is interesting seriously.

The gameplay is fun but with a bad execution, when you are doing quest, 1st, there is cut scene at EVERY DIALOGUE, EVERYTHING THAT NEEDS TO BRING ENEMIES TO YOUR FACE, 2nd, the story isn't interesting seriously, obvious things happends, a lot of things doesn't make sense, there is events that happends because those events are called "This is here for scenario".

In coop it's hell, if you kill enemies too fast during fights, a guy can bug, becomes unkillable, all you have to do, is the host of the game to restart, and do it again. In coop again, to continue the story ALL the players needs to be at the door that will turn on another ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cut-scene that takes sometime to load, and again, it cuts the rythme again and again. My gf was the host of the game, i couldn't upgrade main items you unlock called Nightrunners items, like the paraglider, the hook or the UV Light, so i was stuck with the lvl 1 Paraglider going at 50 mile per year compared to my gf sliding through the city at 50 mile per hour.

There is more problems like the poor optimization, there is a lot of moments where you lose 10 to 30 fps for no reason and it comes back, and thanks to DENUVO for their genius to break games even more.

I'm still playing the game and actually, the thing that makes me like to play is explore but when it comes time to do the story, well it's painful to go from Dying Light 1 that is a really good, fun and interesting game to that.

If you want to do it, wait for a year at least, they have the objective to keep the game alive for 8 years which i trust, because Techland are capable to do good stuff, good DLCs and good updates to improve the game, there is things that are good but a lot of things are really bad for now, they will not be able to change the story line but after the end of the story, this is when the fun part will start, i hope but for now, i can't recommand it.

After Battlefield 2042 failure, Dying Light 2 is not close to that type of fail but far from a really good game.
