The game is bound to get a patch soon but I'll review it in its current state for now.
TL;DR
I would suggest waiting for at least one patch, but what's here is very promising already.

So far I've played TR1, its expansion and part of TR2. There are a handful of visual glitches like incorrect textures or some missing statue but they're pretty rare (I recall three in the first game, none in the expansion and one in 2 so far).

The system requirements are luckily very low, and the game is able to run at any frame rate without breaking game logic (capped by V-Sync). However, it lacks any kind of in-game setting and it instead defaults to desktop resolution and refresh rate, forced V-Sync in borderless windowed mode (can switch to normal windowed with alt+enter, which scales to any size and aspect ratio).
The classic mode is also internally capped at 30fps and does not offer bilinear filtering for textures (for those who prefer the classic PC visuals).

Sometimes the classic graphics are brighter than the remastered ones (mainly TR1), sometimes darker (TR2 so far), and things like the rusty keys in the cistern level are tiny and blend in with the floor texture with modern graphics, so you might wanna switch to the classic mode from time to time.
That being said, the remastered graphics are very pretty and much more atmospheric overall IMO.

Tank controls work as you'd expect if you're used to the classics, but the modern controls could really use some tweaks (mainly its camera and lack of consistent/intuitive backstep).
Lara's home is the tutorial level, but sadly it doesn't really acommodate to modern controls. Some tutorials still apply for the most part while others end up being slightly confusing.
They seem promising though, they just need a revision IMO.

Bear in mind that despite the addition of modern controls, these games have some unique rules and mechanics that you will need to learn regardless. Lara cannot perform a running jump before she takes a few steps for example (and you should hold the jump button, not tap it).

Will eventually get back to it and finish it but know you NEED to download third party patches to even finish the first level.
Stuff like the gates/doors not opening and game crashes is all thanks to anti-piracy measures getting triggered, and apparently they've used third party cracked executables for at least two of their games here on Steam that I can remember.
Refer to the following video if interested:

Game is probably great, but this is embarrassing and completely unacceptable.
Apparently it was also Steam Deck verified according to some user, so that must've been some thorough testing too

It was an absolute blast! Short, yes, but totally worth it IMO (besides, it was cheap on sale).
The only thing I can complain about is the poor keyboard support (it's playable, as I finished it that way, but I recommend avoiding it at all costs).
The main character only speaks Spanish, although he has a bit of an American accent xD I personally didn't mind it though, I actually found it charming.

To sum it up: Fun, short, mostly easy, cheap and the cutscenes are basically like a movie.

My opinion probably shouldn't be taken much into consideration, but I personally enjoyed this game *a lot*. I even considered it might become one of my favorite RE titles when I first tried it lol.

So, gameplay mechanics are very similar to REmake's, but instead of item boxes you just drop items on the floor... Now I can totally see why this can be a big deal for many and it can certainly be annoying, but you can also use this to your advantage (especially in subsequent playthroughs).
Luckily most areas are connected one way or another, so it's not like you have to backtrack as much as you'd imagine, you'll be fine most of the time.
The map will tell you where every single item is located, and you can make your own item boxes by choosing a certain room such as a main hall to drop most items.
The main annoyance with this game is the hookshot. This item takes up two slots and it's required in 4 instances and *will* force you to backtrack if you don't have it nearby.

I suggest you leave it in your personal item box room and maybe take it with you if you feel like you're entering a large new area. Count how many times you've used it so far, when you reach 4 just drop it for good.

I personally find all of it quite entertaining. The inventory management, the co-op aspects (with the A.I., that is) and stuff like that make it a rather interesting entry in the series.

Oh, almost forgot. Leech mode and Wesker mode are pretty neat :p

This game was a steal on sale.
The characters don't look so great, but the scenery is awesome throughout. The game has a good variety of puzzles and some basic platforming.
The story and voice acting is kinda cheesy but I just consider that to be part of its charm ("Whoops").
Unlike Tomb Raider games, there's pretty much no action and it's instead focused on exploring and puzzle solving heavily. I highly recommend it, especially with such an attractive price tag on sale :p

Edit: You might encounter a bug or two, reloading the last checkpoint usually helps.
I also suggest to take it slow in the bible passage puzzle, switching too fast might glitch it (the solution will remain the same, but you won't be able to know which one it is)

Best one of its kind I've seen so far. Can be used to create gifs and is highly customizable. You can also make it so that it doesn't have to launch from Steam, which is what I did (hence why I only used it for 28 minutes according to Steam)

*The Steam version appears to have a few extra tweaks to improve compatibility and add support for xInput, according to pcgamingwiki*

I have to admit that in a few aspects, it might feel a little inferior to Obscure 1.
The characters carry a flashlight at all times and it has no effect on enemies, which simplifies combat quite a bit. It has no unlockables nor different difficulty settings, which reduces the replay value a little and all deaths are scripted now, which means you can't save nor let certain characters die early and watch (slightly) different cutscenes depending on who you chose to play with (this is not necessarily bad though, just different).

Despite that, the game is overall just as enjoyable as obscure 1. It has a *beautiful* main menu theme and many of the character specific skills are now minigames (my favorite being lock picking).
Melee combat is a more viable way of defending yourself this time around, btw.

If you liked Obscure 1, you should totally grab this one as well.

Fantastic survival horror game, and the best part is that the Steam version apparently has a few extra tweaks for better compatibility and controller support (and don't forget Steam achievements :p).

It has a pretty good story, nice replay value, unlockables and the best part: optional co-op! xD
I recommend using a widescreen patch for co-op, as both players will share the same screen and the non-focused player can be left behind out of frame, so the patch should help with that (can be found in pcgamingwiki, make sure to download the steam version).
Bear in mind that cutscenes might stretch either horizontally or vertically, and you'll see the game in the background while reading documents, etc.
Edit: It's possible that it makes a certain puzzle that involves coordinates a liiittle more complicated than it should, but I can't confirm.

Certainly not a bad game to introduce anyone to the survival horror genre (and be careful, this game features perma-death! :p)

I only really recommend this game to survival horror fans, as it's not exactly the best of its kind.I encountered some lighting bugs and many animations and models could certainly look a bit better even for 2003 standards.I started playing on the "Difficult" difficulty but to be honest, it wasn't that hard at all. It's actually very easy to dodge attacks, perhaps not allowing to walk while aiming would've helped balance it out. Some camera angles won't update if you go through a certain path, or sometimes they automatically move to the left or right as you walk forward, not allowing you to explore certain corners freely (the character will be completely out of frame in some of those instances). All in all, it was an interesting survival horror experience considering it was dirt cheap on sale and that's mainly why I choose to recommend it.This game could REALLY use a remake, since the setting and story were fairly interesting but it lacks polish and stuff like replay value, etc.

I appreciate the 1k keys giveaway, however I can't say that it's worth it even for free... This looks like something made in two days as a personal project.
Like others have said, the main menu only has two options, the level is very, *very* simplistic, ugly and uninteresting... yet the game runs poorly.
It doesn't even have achievements to justify a full playthrough...
Simply put it's not worth anyone's time, besides I've seen way better games for half the money the developer asks for this game.
