Fallout 2 in my opinion, is the best in a series of games that include Fallout 3 and New Vegas. Nothing like going back old school days with this fantastic turned based RPG. The story telling in this game is unique, very often funny, and always engaging. You are free to be who you want to be in the wastelands of Fallout, want to be a prick that steals from everyone? Maybe you want to be a hero who saves the children instead of killing them? With the way karma works in this game your actions very much affect the way the world reacts to you and your party. Along with the choice to go where ever in the world, the skill system is just as open, you can spend your skill points however you like. I find myself making many characters just to try out different styles of play. You could be a sweet talking brawler, a thieving sharp shooter, or even a non-combatant that talks, repairs, or barters thier way to the end, the choices are truly up to you. If you do decide to buy this be sure to download Killaps unoffical patch and Killaps Restoration project, both have installers and make the game more incredible. Oh and by the way kids, stay off the jet, it's addictive!
