Awesome mix between papers please, keep talking and nobody explodes and lethal company.
only thing that could improve the game is a way to practice specific modules.

I was hesitant to buy this game because I saw some negative reviews, and I'm glad I bought it. So I'm gonna comment on some of the negative points that were mentioned on other reviews.

"game gets too hard after first half"
It does get more difficult, but I wouldn't say it's unfair. You will be required to start using your items, and you will get into situations where you must take a hit, but that's okay that actually makes it fun in my opinion, otherwise there's a lot of items that would go unused because you can just cruise through the game. I played on hard and I didn't die once, I'm not saying that to brag, but to note that the difficulty is not unfair at all, you just have to really think how to spend your resources.

"stamina is unbalanced/unfair/broken/boring"
I feel like stamina actually gives you the flexibility to strategize and be able to beat any enemy, without it fights could drag on forever. So being such a valuable resource you are encouraged to farm stamina whenever possible, so there is some grinding to do. I personally didn't find it boring at all, it is fun to try to find the openings to refill your stamina. Do you find it boring? there's a lot of checkpoints where you can pay to refill your stamina and a lot of consumables. I ended the game with 700+ gold leftover after preparing for the final fight, so you probably can use the gold to avoid boring grind and still have enough to beat the game.

"you have no hope of winning unless you hoard resources"
I feel like this is a really fair point. I optimized the **** out of the game so I can't really tell you how it goes, but I think that if you rush to the final chapter burning every resource and having 0 gold to spend then you are screwed. There is no way to make enemies respawn or any way to grind gold at all. So as a warning, try to build up some gold during your adventure.

"something about relying on dice rolls and RNG"
I mean, it's a dice roll game...
But seriously, it's not an RGN fiesta where you just have to hope to get lucky to win the fight. You can mitigate the luck factor to win pretty consistently if you play correctly and go prepared.

"inventory is clunky"
Also a fair point, I ended up getting the same equipment 4 times, one for each character, because swapping them around was a chore. it would be nice to have an option in the warehouse to rearrange items between all characters. It's not a dealbreaker, just a minor inconvenience.

"enemies are 100% rational so you are playing solitaire against yourself"
I don't think this is true, maybe I didn't completely understand how the AI plays, but i think there's RNG involved in the AI actions. For example in the first chapters my strategy was always to bait the enemies to use an attack putting myself 2 def below their attack and then using a skill that gives me 2 def, wasting the AI's turn and buffing myself or hitting them. At some point in the game the AI started to avoid attacking when I tried to do this, it seemed random when they were taking the bait or not. Another example is the dice draft, the AI usually prioritizes ATK and then DEF dice, but other times it just takes speed and ruin your strategy.

I will add a critique of my own, the final boss is kind of a mess. You get introduced to a whole new mechanic that you need to try to understand how it works and it ends up being completely irrelevant, because you can just trade hits until the boss is dead (since you have 3 times his health between all characters)

Overall a really nice game, would recommend to anyone that likes turn based strategy and optimizing stuff.

Lots of server issues, and champions cost a fortune for a paid game.

It's so stupidly fun that I don't care about the server issues. 10/10
