For context this is my first Souls game. I tried DS1 and DS3 and quickly quit because they were too hard. Elden Ring is significantly more accessible than the previous games in the series.
Elden Ring is the rarest of rare games. Expansive open world with meaningful exploration, meaty and satisfying combat, and absolutely no microtransactions or time-gating.
It's a masterpiece. GOTY easily.
And I say that despite having an ultrawide monitor that this game doesn't support for some reason (??? it's 2022).

have 150 hours on Origin. All aspects of this game are a masterpiece. The campaign is short yet impactful and satisfying. The multiplayer is amazingly fun with a massively high skill ceiling. The movement in this game is well beyond absolutely any other game in existence

very pretty. used walkthroughs to help with the puzzles a lot but still enjoyed the scenery and story.

this game starts off fun, engaging, and appropriately difficult.

it becomes utter BS about 2/3rds of the way through. enemies always OHK and everything is so freaking RNG it's impossible.

I have ~250 hrs in Apex before it was on Steam. Super polished BR game with great gunplay and solid movement. Wish there was wallrunning and titans but you can't have it all :)

This game is really fun nowadays- heard about the disaster launch but never played.

Tons of stuff to do, really pretty visuals and satisfying to grind for most things.

I definitely owe this game a positive review given how much I've enjoyed playing it. Gorgeous visuals, intriguing world with significant depth, and a compelling story. All the machines feel really alive and are super fun to take down. I'm playing this game right after finishing playthroughs of Witcher 3 and Hellblade- HZD definitely holds it's own against those great games.

The graphics are truly stunning, even on mostly medium settings (with ultra textures).

I've had no crashing issues, but have had generally lackluster performance with 43.3 FPS average at 3440 ultrawide. (specs are AMD R5 3600, 16GB RAM, Vega 64, and 20.8.2 drivers). AMD Vega drivers currently have unusually poor performance btw

Really enjoying this because of the RPG elements. I enjoyed Gwent in TW3, but wasn't into the multiplayer Gwent. Difficulty gets easier the more you play.
