A classic. Say what you want about tank controls and linear progression, this game is a special kind of jam.

There really isn't much to say that other reviews haven't, I'd just be trying to reword the obvious. This is a great game, and the comparisons mentioned are true, and it's a lot of fun, and I imagine older crowds will enjoy this a lot more due to its scope. Nostalgia factor is huge but it isn't for lack of quality and content. It's all there and it's addicting.

I initially started writing a really long thorough review of the game and I realized I didn't have the patience for that so I'll just leave at this: I don't play sports games, save NHL 13 on Xbox360. This game is awesome. Sports and non-sports fans alike can find mass amount of replayable enjoyment. I love this game. If you ever played Backyard Baseball, you will be right at home.

Another thing, I don't preorder games ever, but I am preordering SMB2 the moment it is available.

Get it.

EDIT: Most important note I'd like to make is that the developer is amazing. Very responsive to community and dedicated to the game 100% delivering the best content and gameplay. Play this and you will understand.

CS2 is a piece of s h e e t metal that wallbangs for 0 dmg.

Buggy as hell, many expected features and console commands are missing. Hit registry feels off. Make no mistake, CSGO is now CS2 because the skin economy is too great to just abandon. There was no way they could make CS2 a separate entity ... CSGO had to evolve. It pains me, it was a near perfect game. Focus on fixing registry would have been nice rather than trying to repackage the game with new visual elements. The HUD feels off, this feels like a foreign game, I don't feel at home like I did on GO.

Guess I will wait until this game gets fixed from updates. Remember when games had to be near perfect to be released because they couldn't just "patch" them via internet? What you bought was what you got. There are many to blame for this.

UPDATE:

My game crashes constantly. It freezes and stutters. I never had this issue with CSGO. I even upgraded my ram from 8gb to 32gb. perhaps my other hardware is holding me back but im rocking the lowest settings possible with 1280x960 stretched. the fps is typically high but the amount of stuttering and frame drops makes it tough to be competitive. casual is mostly where the issue is due to the high amount of players and density of utility being used simultaneously.

the crashing is what's getting to me tho. it crashes on launch while the load video freeze stutters into the main menu, and the freezing and crashing during game is obviously problematic. I don't know why they don't take more time to stabilize a game before releasing it.

Since this update my game has been crashing during the final round(s) of casual. There have been at least 3 games that crashed tonight.

I want to love this game but my game crashes AT LEAST once a game of casual and that's fewer rounds than comp. This is incredibly frustrating. Rushing a product out just to grab money. Sofa King shame.
