One note; Controls could be better, it feels very controller oriented and I spend too much time separating units into teams each day.

Nodes get busted.

Wish there was more of this.

At first they ask you to fill a glass with water from the sink using only your hands. You get more efficient at it as time passes.
The game then asks you to fill the tub with water, you can use the glass tho, but only if you keep filling the glass with your hands.
Which honestly still sounds more interesting than this game.

It's boring.

Nothing to keep you going, the gameplay loop is the same from start to finish, except there is no pay-off and it just slows down. There is no real way of speeding up either.

The game feels like RNG hell. I couldnt make my water ball strategy work 5 times because i never got ice cubes, ways to refresh them or the lakes.
Refund worthy after playing game like Balatro.
Artstyle is ... interesting... but not my cup of tea.

I would recommend this game if you're at least going to co-op it with 2 or more people!

Solo play on higher difficulties has it's fair share of problems, and most of my runs just don't work out because characters without upgrades are far too squishy in my opinion.

The game looks good and most "guns" feel unique.

The DLC characters feel a bit stronger than the original ones, but hey, doesn't matter, it's fun.

After playing the demo I wanted to play more...

Sadly the game is not worth it's price of admission, in the full game you get to play THREE levels instead of one, and most of the orbs you can experience in the demo already.

I do feel scammed by this early access title, hope there are going to be updates.

TDLR:
Not worth the price

TLDR: Mediocre, Play for the story. Better survival games and stories out there.

The market feels flooded with survival games, and this is just a 6.5/10 to be fair as in my opinion a story cannot carry bad gameplay.

The constant micro-managing of random bites, cuts, diseases, dirt, 4 food bars and a horrible backpack system will get on your nerves. If not, good for you!

The game prides itself on realism, it missed the mark, most things in the jungle will not hunt humans, especially not large cats, they won't hunt you down just at random. Snakes won't just attack you out of nowhere, getting a bite from skittish spiders is also unlikely.

If you wanted to build a camp, oh boy, do I have bad news for you, it bugs out more than half the time, remember that frame you places? did you get rid of it? now you can't place it anymore! Want to place two frames on top of each other... No, big no, you can't anymore, why not? Who knows, but remember, if you mod the game you might brick your savefiles :shrug:.

The story is nice to play through once, not the greatest but interesting enough to keep you going.

Love the game.

As a game that feels like it should be played co-op it's kind of difficult to enjoy as it is plagued by constant disconnecting, we tried doing the mines three times, every single time at some point the other person disconnects from the host.

Cannot recommend this at all, even for 5 euro it's a wasted 5 euro.
