Fantastic addition to the franchise

Best idle game I've played

What a fun little Metroidvania like game. At first it felt too easy. I felt like restarting and setting it on Hard but glad I did not because the difficulty ramps up to a satisfactory amount and beyond. Great classic feel and sound. I beat the game first run in around 8 hours in game time, with 5 deaths and 95% complete on Normal. Great game, some poor translations to English but not unbearable.

My biggest negative is that the D-pad does not work, the devs are aware of it and never (as of yet) got it fixed. So download joy to key or just play on a 360 wired controller using the left stick instead of D-pad. Because I chose to do this, I never could utilize the in game feature of bunny hopping on enemies heads and at one point that becomes a necessary part to the plot that I had to skip after 2 hours of trying and failing.

I would say over all a great play, probably not for the 100% achievement hunters out there, it would be a head ache and a time investment.
For the casual Metroidvania fans, absolutely play this. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Well this game is just amazing fun. I saw this on Lirik's stream and fell in love with it. The soundtrack is outstanding and very relaxing. I recommend picking up the deluxe edition that comes with the soundtrack. The game has very chill to moments of pure stress micromanaging your painters. For people that like to decorate there is quite a bit you can do with that in here as well however going for your favorite textures/furniture may cost you some prestige and draw in the poor folk. You will see some familiar names in here as well! Very cool. I had fun pretending I knew anything about histrory. Best part about this game for me is there are a lot of games similar to Painters Guild that are micromanagement and once youre done youre done. Painters Guild has 3 cities as of right now of where you can expand your guild that all reward your work in different ways! So the replay value is actually pretty high!!! I absolutely recommend you check this game out.

WOW! The only word I have after playing. Such a wild ride. I really hope this game gets worked on some more because there is serious potential here. 10/10 would pay to play a full version of this. Im still sitting here thinking about that crazy journey.

Sooooo Good! Tripwire made another masterpiece here. This game is in early access and plays better, feels better, and has more entertainment value than AAA titles.

Defend yourself against waves of specimen/zombies that have no purpose but to kill you. You can baracade yourself in rooms, run and gun or even bash your way to victory with a sword. I personally put 311 hours in the first Killing Floor and I expect to put much more into this one.

Also, this game is SUPER SMEXY!!!!! MAN IT LOOKS GOOD
