I loved the first game and love this one just as much. You can tell there is a lot of work and love put behind this and it shows. I can't wait to see what else they have planned.

AVOID THIS GAME

Helldivers 2 originally came out to a warm round of applause due to it finally making a change in the gaming sphere which had grown stale and complacent over the past half decade+ (barring most indie titles). It was a breath of fresh air which offered great value for money and near endless replay-ability. However, as of recently PlayStation (Sony) are retroactively changing the the terms that PC players play on. The decision to force a PSN link to your steam after it previously being completely optional has burned a vast majority of the player-base. This decision was brought on by Sony, the publishers, and their endless want for more numbers and more player info under the horribly veiled pretense of "protecting the community".

As much as I'd like to say that Sony is the only one to blame for the current predicament and negative press (and while they should take almost all the flak for it), the reaction from community managers as well as other people from arrowhead leaves more to be desired.

Sony has a history of having massive data leaks, which many, including myself don't want any part of. The kicker on all of this is that Sony don't even allow citizens of most countries to make a PSN account, effectively robbing them of the option to play entirely, even if they wanted to take the risk of an inevitable data breach.

It was a good run, and even if the decision if backpedaled on I still will not return, as I'm sure many others won't as well.

Used to love this game. Was very fun and by all accounts still is. with the focus being on PvP it feels rewarding to grind and get better. however, having over 1k hours I have put plenty of time in to learn mechanics and level up. If you start playing the game now its fine, but as a returning player who learned that fame gains had been changed (EXP) i felt as though a lot of my time had been wasted, as it now takes a fraction of the time to get the same results it would've taken forever to get a while back. while for game health this is good because it makes it severely less grindy it still makes me wish i didn't put the time in previously.

I was very on the edge at first but honestly, after 4 hours and 100% got to say, best $10 I've spent in some time. Good job devs. Ln'eta is bae. Gud Gaem. still gud
