I often joke with friends that I refuse to leave 2011 or so (hell my Homestuck avatar should be evidence enough of that lol) so this was a nice trip to a simpler time. I'm not ashamed to admit I spent a good chunk of the runtime grinning ear to ear like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idiot. Only way it could have gotten better is if Dave was voiced by the authentic Daniel UK MLG voice but I'm assuming there's some licensing issue there or whatever.

So yeah, thanks. You made this creaky old Zillennial very happy.

Do I have any real idea what's going on? No.

Do I know why the people look like that? No.

Do I know what that music is and why it's louder than a nuclear bomb? No.

Should you play it? Yes.

As of Volume 5, June 8, 2018, Cronus is no longer the worst character in Homestuck. Never thought I'd see the day.

The original release of No Time To Explain was plagued by performance issues, but thanks to this re-release (which owners of the original recieved for free), those issues have been squashed. Which is great, becasue the game itself is a ton of fun. Gleefully frustrating, completely off-the-wall wacky, brilliant soundtrack, and hey, you can eat cake while shooting lazers at dinosaurs.

If you like platformers and games that make you laugh, then this'll be right up your alley.
