Sadly I refunded this title after an hour of gameplay. I don't like the humankind approach to advancing the civilizations. UI design is not to my liking either. I did try to like it but ended up not satisfied. I will however keep an eye on it. I suppose it could be improved but we'll see.

I've been waiting for this game. Loved the Demo's! Gladius like but better graphics, Diplomacy, Reasearch, resource gathering and base building, Post apocalypse setting. What's not to love? You just know the developers will support this title. Looking forward to future DLC's.

I never played frostpunk but I have to say. I never had so much fun losing! This game gave me a feeling of urgency to get the colony stable before the first whiteout. The atmosphere created is dark and desperate. You have to make difficult choices along the way. I lost of course but now I want to go back and apply some of the things I learned from losing. The graphics are fine. It runs well on my rig. There is somewhat of a tutorial built into the game but of course their are things you need to discover yourself which is fine. I wish i had played 1 now. I highly recommend. Looking forward to future DLCs

The players who claim this is a remaster of Sins 1 are not being accurate or missing something. This is definitley a technical and gameplay impovement. I love the idea of orbits and it's effect on gameplay and the AI seems to be much improved. Finally a tutorial that actually helps you learn the important mechanics! If you are a fan of space RTS games. Buy it!

I've waited a long time for this and I understand the developer overcame a lot of hurdles along the way. Honestly I'm enjoying it. It's basically an upgraded xenonauts 1 with improved graphics and more research. I'm no expert reviewer and I'm in the early game. All I know is I'm having fun with it and that's what counts. I bang my fist on the desk when I lose a soldier because of a stupid move or a lucky shot from the enemy and I cheer when my team brings them down and wins the mission. It seems the AI cheats sometimes with incredibly accurate shots but after all the Aliens have had more experience at subversion and conquering then my recruits. Hopefully they will improve with experience. I did have a gernade blow up in my troopers face while he was standing behind a downed soldier which was a bummer. Hopefully just a fluke. It seems the Developers are attentive and patching regularly so I recommend this game.

If your into W40K then you will enjoy this. It was released in rough state but the devs are patching and seem responsive. In Chapter 1 so can't speak for the previously problematic later chapters.

I had reservations ever since I played the demo a long time ago. then the game was delayed and I thought. Maybe they will make it better. I purchased it and then refunded after the first mission. It didn't seem that much different and there is only the campaign and a few challenge missions. I have enjoyed many of the publisher's games but found this one boring and empty. I don't Think DLC's can fix it and frankly paying for a fix would be insulting to me. Sorry. can't recommend.

I'm really enjoying the game. Great edition to your library if your a 40K fan. Haven't had any performance issues but I don't view my frame rates unless I notice something. My system is 5 years old and runs it well on high. I do wish the Knights were more damage resistant as they should be but hopefully the devs will work on this. I play games that are fun and this one is definitley that. Not sure about all the toxic reviewers out there. If you have something to say it should be constructive not insulting. As to the graphics. I do prefer more washed out weathered colors especially for a Grey Knights team that has been on campaign and badly in need of rest and refit. I can live with colorful though. I recommend it as it seems the devs are listening and will keep working on the title.
