Incredibly janky as it can be, characters with broken english and it being the only language. Hard to get into, and the game barely holds your hands on guiding you on what to do.
Despite all those negatives, the gameplay, atmosphere and story are incredible and worthwhile if you finally manage to get your bearings. Game allows you to have many options on how to tackle missions, and gives a sense of 'freedom' that makes it unique and replayable, with level up system and such.
Not an easy game, but by far one of my favorites.

How I love Democracy...
We mantain our way of life!!
I love Helldivers 2, perfect and chaotic PvE game to play with friends or with strangers.

OLD REVIEW; Sony retracted on this.
The PSN Account linking being mandatory is frustrating as it was not a requirement when the game released. Why make it a requirement now?

This game is based and plays the same than the tabletop game of the same name, Root.
It has personality, and that each faction you can pick is so different from one another makes it incredibly fun and engaging, and adds a huge replayability to it.
Fair note, it can be a bit buggy, and you won't have your DLCs if you are offline, at least, from personal experience. Also, if you are connected and do not have access to the expansions, try opening the game again while internet is on, that usually fixes this.

I... can't honestly remember how I got my hands on this game.
But. Been giving it a go here and there, and it started to grow on me rather quickly.
Some DLCs are better than others. Heroes of the Inner Sphere, Legend of the Kestrel Lancers and Rise of Rasalhague are incredible additions both in missions and 'mech variants they provide.
Both the Nexus Mod and Steam Workshop communities are decently active and improve the game about three to four times the base game too. Some even are going as far as recreating Mechwarrior 2 on this game.

Gameplay wise, you are managing a mercenary team and it's 'mechs, how much you pay for upkeep, repairs and such is part of the challenge. You can personalize the combat robots in surprising ways and with mods like Yet Another MechLab, some combinations of weapons and equipment can be quite fun and powerful.
The game is rather slow to t he usual first person shooter, but I think that adds to how intense it feels at times.

Too Long, Didn't Read:
Good game, made even greater with mod support. Highly recommended, more so if it's on discount.

MTG: Arena works, to my surprise, incredibly well! Cards behave like they should work in Paper/Tabletop format, and I been using it to learn more about combination of cards, deck building and such.
This game has cards from the set Kaladesh forward, though they have been adding remasters, Shadows of Innistrad being one of them.
In Tabletop MTG, I tend to mostly play Pioneer, so this game has been incredibly useful in knowing cards for that format.
BE ADVICED: I have not spent money on this game as of yet, and it's entirely possible to be Free to Play. BUT, Getting new cards (from booster packs, events, Jump-in, etc.) is somewhat slow, and the cards you get are mostly at random. You'll be given Wildcards to hand-pick your favorite cards, but these are incredibly limited.

It's a decent game. Doesn't take itself so seriously and can play it on your phone. I myself have found not being able to play in my PC given life happening, but at least I can just pop my phone while on a break and have a few minutes break with this game.
It is grindy, though. But even if the game is free, Microtransactions feels rather fair, it's not on your face nor blocks you off quests. And everything locked behind pay is cosmetic, so no advantage what so ever.

Loved it. Everspace is quickly one of my favourite games that I got the chance of playing!
To access the art-book, open the game and it'll give you the option of launching the art book on either a browser or a PDF.
To find the Soundtrack, that's a bit more tricky, but not so hard to spot! Check Everspace's local files on your computer, (Go to Library, right click Everspace, Properties, Local Files) there you should be able to find a folder with the Soundtrack, no problemo!
The Wallpapers are located in Local Files as well, under the name of 'Wallpaper' folder!
Hope this proves useful, and... don't die out there, pilots!

If you like teamwork oriented first person shooters, this one is a -must-, no doubt about it.
