This game is a good idea, and I hope it will get better as it comes out of early access (in which case I will update the review)

The ghosts are basically all the same, and the thermometer is way too strong. The ghosts also need have the ability to turn off the camera or something. I think we need significantly more interaction with the ghost, and to do something with it, rather than just get evidence of it.

The difficulty mechanics are just terrible (right now). Basically all difficulty is just larger maps so it takes longer to find the ghost, which is still not a problem because thermometer exists. They need to require you to do something to protect yourself from the ghost short of just running away. Could easily use the speech-to-text to that end. (power of christ compels you with the crucifix etc), and it could be different based on what ghost.

The developers in my opinion need to run as far away from the L4D2 feel as they can as quickly as possible. I think it just ruins the fun of the game to have to do it once and have it figured out and feel like you're done with it. Once you "get" how to deal with the ghosts it really drains the fun out of it.

So negative review partially because this game absolutely does not deserve a 97%, and because of the current problems.

everything else is very good

Good Combat, Visuals are usually fantastic, the facial animations can be awkward at times. Puzzles can be irritating at times and other times its hard to find the way back home. 8,5/10

there is many dlc and my wallet cannot appreciate them but base game alone is pretty cash money

It's like if the original Insurgency had production value

I would pay 60$ to actually play a game that ain't pay to win but this pay to win. Fun game destroyed by p2w. F
