Definitely worth playing with a friend especially due to its silly nature. The voice acting and music hit it out of the park. The game is a bit too hard and janky atm but with a little bit of tweaking it could really something special.

Current feedback is; that I wish the entire raft had collision with the terrain like it does with other obstacles, currently you fall off even if the majority of the boat is on the water, it only looks for the absolute center of your raft to keep afloat, meanwhile you can get bounced off if your edges hit the obstacles (like it should).

In regards to the actual stages; You can basically skip the ship part entirely by going behind the ships, which seems like a cool shortcut at first but just feels kinda cheaty, even if the rest of the level feels unfair at times.

There is a long stretch after it that lacks checkpoints, I can't imagine beating this game with checkpoints especially in co-op mode, but the checkpoint halfway through where the controls invert, has a long way before the next safe space, which should imo be pushed back around the corner where the controls revert back to normal, instead of making you go through another couple turns down the long path. Me and my friend actually couldn't even get through this part and he had to go to bed so we called it there.

The 2nd checkpoint area is really difficult and should probably stay that way but get pushed back to between the pirate ship area and inversion checkpoints, or at least with proper raft collision, might just need to be slightly wider going in and out of the shifting plate (if not moving the stage is preferable).

It's hard to perfectly show what I'm referring to but I did talk about these things during my stream which I've also uploaded the recordings to, so that content can be used to get a better picture, my links are on my profile, I'd rather not outright advertise the links here.

I tried to get remote play to work with my friend overseas; but being thousands of miles away made that laggy & clunky, so we decided to race as far as we can get with as little deaths as possible instead. Proper co-op is in the works luckily but atm what's in place isn't reliable enough.

This is just the demo so I imagine most of my complaints will be resolved by the time the game actually launches. I believe this game can still keep itself very difficult but still be reasonable in how harsh it is, I hope some day I can actually complete it but I'd rather wait for the full version then start back from scratch since you lose your progress after leaving (it doesn't prompt you to reset progress or warn you that you will lose it, so you're expected to complete it in one run on the demo).

Scare the fish with your knife or get scared by fish with knife-like teeth, your call.

A lot of fun destroying other players on your own, however most of the longevity you can get from this game is destroying long-term friendships from your steam library.

This game is almost as goated as the goats you crush with your massive balls.

This game fills a niche that should've been filled years ago, oh wait it did fill it years ago and it's still being updated as of this review.

I'm pretty good at humans, pretty bad at sharks, and pretty willing to recommend this game to anybody.

Playing with friends can lead to many chaotic memories but playing alone is a whole other can of beans, good beans though.

I wish this game was still alive, the fact that it's free is enough to recommend it, give it a fair shake with a bunch of friends if you're hesitant, not much to lose anyways.

I feel too dumb to play this game to the max but even I had a blast doing all sorts of silly things, absolutely recommend to play with friends. Hard to play alone for long unless you're a nerd.

There's no other game quite like this product, I'd buy it even at full price, the campaign alone is a blast that anybody can enjoy.

I can only recommend this game if you mod the hell out of it or are a Bethesda fanatic, otherwise it gets rather dull after several vanilla playthroughs.
