An excellent 2D platformer that doesn't get enough love. If you enjoy other platformers as a whole, this is a great choice to add to your collection. Not only is the puzzle gameplay fairly unique, but the story is one of the best parts of the experience.

As a remaster it's probably not quite as polished as other remasters, but it's more than serviceable and runs well. Additionally, if you were ever turned away by the games difficulty in the past, there are new difficulty settings that can make the game more of a casual experience. I definitely suggest giving the game a try, even if you don't think you'd be good at it.

The best (if not the only good) 3D Worms game. It's a great bargain, containing content from both the original Worms 4: Mayhem and Worms 3D and offers plenty of customization both for the look and sound of your worms and a ton of gameplay options.

Unfortunately, single player isn't really this game's strong suit. It is present and there's a lot to do in the Campaign modes, but the AI just has trouble doing much in a fully-destructible 3D environment in free matches. Additionally, if you don't know anybody to play with, there's zero chance of online multiplayer.

That being said, since this game is turned-based, I do think the game is fun to play against yourself like you might do with chess or a similar game. It can be fun coming up with and beating your own strategies, and the customization features make that even funner. Not to mention it's always a blast to see what over-the-top ways you can blast enemy worms away.

I mostly recommend this game for those either looking to try out Worms in 3D, or someone looking for a casual game to just goof off in, especially if you can get it on sale or in a bundle. Otherwise, you might be better off with a more popular game in the series like Armageddon or WMD. It's my personal favorite Worms game, but that may not be a popular opinion.

A very cute, heartfelt story about growing up that anybody with siblings can relate to. The island in which the game takes place is very fun to explore, even if it seems like the game is over before you know it. I can definitely recommend this to any fans of The Legend of Zelda and/or Super Mario or anyone looking for a fun, wholesome experience.
I can also recommend this to anyone who just looking for a lighthearted, casual romp and just don't feel like playing anything more in-depth.

Basically, Dragon Quest-meets-Minecraft.

The game is very enjoyable for a lot of the same reasons as Minecraft. The main draw of this game besides the ability to build anything you want is the story. It easily has one of the more memorable stories I've played in a game like this. Combat is perhaps oversimplified, but decent.

If you'd like to play this game just for the building and creativity of it, you'll really have to work to earn it. Though there will be plenty of opportunities to flex your creative muscles, you'll mostly be dealing with the plot, fighting off enemies, doing quests, and exploring. You won't get many real chances to build freestyle until after you complete the main story, especially if you want to play in multiplayer. However, that can take quite some time, so that's something to consider.

Overall, I can definitely recommend this game, even if you never player either Dragon Quest or Minecraft before this. It does enough different from Minecraft to not come across as a total ripoff and will appeal to fans of 3D platformers and adventure games in addition to RPG and Minecraft-like fans. Just don't be fooled by its cute art style; the game can be surprisingly grim at times.

I would describe this game as gourmet vanilla ice cream. It's good vanilla ice cream, but it's ultimately just vanilla-flavored. It has an engaging story, fun gameplay, and looks really nice, but it's a pretty standard turn-based JRPG. It does the basic formula for these kinds of games well (in fact, Dragon Quest as a whole pretty much invented the gameplay of JRPGs), but it doesn't do anything terribly interesting with the formula compared to other games once you get past its art style and love for puns.

At times, the game's tendency to respect traditions associated with the game can even be to its detriment (such as the fact that either you or the monsters you face can have a random chance to start the battle with a free turn with no way to protect against it or initiate such a move manually), though overall it's not really a problem. The game feels a lot like an old-school RPG from the 16-bit era of gaming. Whether or not that's a good thing depends on your personal tastes.

I recommend the game since I had fun with it personally (though the "post-game" is very heavy on level-grinding with a major difficulty spike) and I've played some of the spin-offs before this. But I'm no RPG-buff, and I know you ultimately could be playing something more unique like Persona, Undertale, Pokémon, and Dragon Quest's "cousin" Final Fantasy. However, you'll likely enjoy the game if you love RPGs as a whole and you're just looking for another story to lose yourself in for many hours.

A fun, casual experience that wears its Nintendo influences on its sleeves while still being something unique, from the Mario and Pikmin-inspired gameplay to its surprising story. If you're looking for some good platforming and puzzle action with a focus on exploration rather than fighting enemies and bosses, this is the game for you.

Wallpaper Engine is, in short, a program that lets you choose between a virtually-limitless selection of animated wallpapers that can double as screensavers. Said wallpapers are largely made the community and can feature just about anything as their theme. You can even set each monitor to use a unique wallpaper.

The program makes it very easy to find and set up the wallpapers you want. The search features have plenty of filter options and has the welcome ability to filter out the more mature content if needed. I found it really easy to find all kinds of great wallpapers and there's definitely something for everyone. Even if you don't have the strongest PC, you're sure to find plenty of wallpapers that you can use.

Wallpaper Engine also allows you to make your own wallpapers/screensavers using the built-in editor. The editor is largely easy to use, especially if working with 2D wallpapers. I was even able to make a good selection of 3D ones, though the tools for that seem to be buggy and somewhat limited when it comes to 3D. Regardless, it still comes out really well when you know what you're doing.

Overall, if you enjoy customizing your PC this is a must-have program, with something for everyone at a more than reasonable price. Wallpaper Engine is both fun to use when looking for new wallpapers and when making your own.
