I have no issue with the systems, seem fine at first glance and I'm looking forward to testing those in multiplayer games but there are other issues. My game locked on turn end multiple times and I had alt+f4 and relaunch the game. I don't think it's my pc related because when the turns work, they end blazingly fast.

The UI and general UX is mind-bogglingly atrocious. This in itself might push me to refund because instead of relaxing I find more things which anger me to the core. There's no point in reiterating everything bad said about it in the reviews but:
- Why in god's name am I unable to deselect a unit in any sensible way other than clicking the tile the unit is on or going through the entire screenspace to the "cancel" action in the unit toolbar. I've tried every key and nothing, not even ESC deselects the unit. There's no keybind for it. Only for sleep which is not the action I want to do.
- Why can't I drag and drop queue items at specific position? I will fairly say that I don't remember if that was a feature in Civ6, but modders made it years ago and there's no reason this shouldn't be in the base game
- Why can't I queue technology/civics? WHY?

This UX was cleary designed by people who had absolutely no idea what they were doing, or They don't give a damn about PC players and made the UX strictly for consoles in which maybe it works well(?).
The core concepts of user interaction are so unnatural that unless the modding tools will give the modders 100% access to modifying the game - this isn't fixable without hiring a completely new UX Team and reworking 80% of the interface on the developers behalf.

There's a theorem that if you place a monkey in front of a typewriter and give it infinite time it will eventually write the works of Shakespeare. I don't think this is the case. The UX Team showed such deep inability to create palpable UX that regardles of time, unless team changes are made they will be unable to understand the core issues and fix them. I will be happy thou to stand corrected if They do fix it.

Edit: Turns out there is a way to deselect a unit on a gamepad by just pressing B. Is this truly how the world works? Some uninformed UX Team doesn't even play the historically PC game with keyboard and mouse and decides our fate?

Fun but way to much stuff you need to circle back for after you get the next "door" opening item.

I was looking forward to replay with the new update but It seems CDPR really likes heading down into the rabbit hole of being increasingly unlikable and I'm at the point of not giving another f*** about them or their games.

- Another useless launcher nobody asked for. Sure you can add run command to skip it post install but just the fact anyone thought this is a good idea for only having a couple of games on the thing and "enabling cross-platform" saves is beyond me. This should have been an in game option without the need for another ******* launcher.
- The performance is horrid. DLSS/FSR are either not working or do f*** all. I am not sure about the fps since no overlay I had worked but even on 4090 you cannot have an above 100fps gameplay with neither RT modes. Feels more around 60fps. Even in nonRT highest settings the game seems a lot slower and cannot maintain stable 144fps. I have played it with all those now "integrated" mods before, with reshades, upscaling and even a lot more mods on top and the game was far more stable with very rare performance hiccups and I did it on way slower hardware.
- Frametimes seem weird. Cannot confirm due to no overlay working fully but the frametimes seem high even in lower settings with higher fps, and I am talking without framegeneration. I can only imagine how horribly this would feel to play with increased input lag of DLSS3 frame generation.

If you waited up to this point to play it. Either don't, or change the game beta channel to classic which people are saying has the game from before the update. Althou how long that will be there nobody knows.

Pretty good. There are some bugs but I'm not sure if those are PC related or if those were in the original release. Nothing game breaking since there are a lot of checkpoints and as far as I've seen you can manually save at almost any point.
100-144 fps on 4k with dlss and most settings cranked up so I'm happy on that front.
Second best spider-man game after the one released in 2000.
