TLDR: Great Gunplay, decent story, fantastic AI and wonderful charm.

I'm not really going to make a concise review as this is much of an "in the moment" kind of review. I adore this game. The gunplay, the graphics, the sounds, the AI, the voicelines, it is all amazing. I had just completed the campaign and while it is probably what you'd expect for what it shows, the charm it has more than pays for what you are getting. The AI alone has been something I had been itching for in a long while and I am more than satisfied with my craving thanks to this game. I'll probably be playing this for a long while and eager to see each update that comes outs.

As a fan of strategy games and Starship Troopers, I can recommend this game. It isnt a typical strategy game and has some quirks but it does work well most of the time. It empathizes wanting to keep units alive despite being able to easily replace them and I quite liked that. It also felt like you had to take a look at your scenario and plan out what you were going to do and how. I played through the entire game on the hardest difficulty and it was quite hard and I got stuck a few times trying to figure it out.
I think one issue is the lack of replayability. Sure you can play through it again but it isnt like popping in a quick skirmish game and having a quick match. I dont even know how that would be a viable option considering it does have a"war of attrition" feel to it.
Multiplayer is not available, but I can see how it might be implemented via Coop, such having seperate armies that complimented eachother. I dont know how any sort of PvP would work, maybe have normal gameplay and have the arachnids as a sort of "creep" enemy or something that both players have to deal with.
I think the game would do well with a quick match skirmish mode or a map editor so people can create and upload new scenarios. I can imagine people would love to play the outpost scene in the starship troopers movie. As it stands now, there are not a lot of levels to play through and there should be more options for things to do.
As it stands, it is a fun game that I can recommend but needs a few improvements to really give it that extra push it needs.

I am just going to say what I mean and feel. This game is cute, adorable and inspiring. The puzzles are simple, the humor is funny and cute, the characters are adorable and wholesome, and the story is fun all the way through. There are very few games where I felt inspired by a character or a story, and this did it. It is such a good journey to go through and I highly recommend anyone who is curious to pick it up and see for themselves the journey of Bard.

I won't do any of the main things of a review like graphics gameplay all that. But the game gave me nightmares...and the best feelings conquering challenges. If you are fine with a good challenge, fine with the perma death risk, and also feeling like trying to find all the brilliantly voiced Lorestones and want to follow a good story..get the game.

First off, not sure if I should check the "got this for free" considering well, its free (at time of review) so whatever. Anyways, I found this a good show. I quite like the whole "were doomed" plot of this. It seems like a good ich to my "Falling Skies" show. Though I wish the first episode wasn't so off track in how it sort of went all over the place in what was happening, though it explained (most) of the present situation well. Though I didn't feel as though I got to know the characters very much, it is still (hopefully) early on in the show. All in all, I do like the show and I hope that I will beable to see future episodes or whatever happens next for Rakka.

Now, im not a professional reviewer, so Ill just give you what I think compared to games today. I think this game still holds its own. The graphics are dated but gunplay and gameplay is fun. Some small AI bugs and some funny glitches, I only found ONE game breaking which happened YEARS ago. It was when a Delta got stuck in a pit and refused to do anything. I could continue level, but I reloaded it cause I didnt want him in the hole. I never got to play multi so I dont have opinion on that. I found the game fun in general and I have played through it multiple times. I think this game still holds its own, but it would be REALLY NICE if this game got a sequel. I doubt it will happen, but battle front got one, right? (Even though from what I hear so far its not good). Well, if you stuck with me this far, then I recommend if you havent already, give it a try.

This game will pit you with a group of civilians with thier own opinions, and skills. You will have to survive by getting food, water, and materials to build and improve your house. The war makes it harsh and you will not survive by being the 100% good guy. You will have to steal from people and you may kill someone who didnt deserve it. This game will test your survivablitly and test your moral as your civilians become devestated by the war.
Pros:
The game has a good story and atmoshere
The game will make you regret choices and feel awesome at others
It has a unique style to the game and gives you a diffrent look at war.
Cons:
It is difficult at times but this can easily be delt with
The graphics itself are ok.
There are glitches in the game like someone falling from a ladder once you hit them with a melee and characters sitting on nothing

All in all a great game. Please do not use this as a good review, I was just saying what I think about the game. If you want a review, please look up another review for this game. Thank you and be careful, war is hell, and you may not make it through.

The game is hard, no doubt. Get a good team, get a good plan, and survive the assault waves, and you got yourself a good payday!
