Map is tiny, 5 civs and your clustered so much impossible to have more than 5 civs. they say world expands with ages, it doesn't and besides what is the point in expanding the world when you are already clustered and can't do anything. The game feels like a A or AA not worth the £60 more akin to around £35.

There is no auto explore or at least I haven't found it in the hidden menus. I slammed through the eras to modern and map didn't expand once.

I love the voice actress that is about the only good thing you got in Civ 7, can't sell a game on actresses alone.

The games movement for mouse is absolutely terrible why change the mouse movement from POE1?

The Issue: When you click to move and you release the mouse you keep moving to where you clicked, this was not an issue on POE1.
A pathetic fix for this is to go to Options > Interface > Gameplay > "Attack in Place Stops Movement", then you can press shift to stop movement.
How about just on release of movement key like POE1? Why change it? Or allow us to use classic style 24 years playing every ARPG game this way for GGG to say nope no more.

This is probably a deal breaker for me.

Edit: 09/Dec/24, [New Class - Mercenary]
This class is so busted, just go around 1 or 2 shotting blues, and a couple shots to take down yellows.
Got Life on hit with Explosive shot and herald of ash, just face tank the mobs and the life on hit multiplies per every projectile, 10 projectiles 10 times the hp gain from life on hit.
The class is either broken or this is how it is meant to be for every class.

Perhaps after trying almost all the classes this is the one for me.

My Sorc has done first Asc Trial and now on Act 3.

[Edit, 16/Dec/2024]
After trying a few builds I can now recommend the game, I have made a busted Gas Grenade Gemling that is a 1 or 2 button build and can clear Tier 8-10 maps with ease with minimal setup perhaps 15 Ex.

Trying a more substantial melee Gemling build with 200-300 Ex to make, has way more tank and can complete rituals. When I say way more tank what I mean is, standing there doing nothing pressing nothing taking hits from 50+ mobs and meh HP doesn't go down. Chaos is pretty much the only killer. But my Chaos is 10% and HP is just over 4000. Trash mobs can be 1 shot off the screen, and Elites and bosses can be 1 shot also, but I need a better weapon and more Jewellers Orbs (still running 3s) to make it more consistent.

Dead game. Takes ages to get a match and when you do its nothing but bots. More people play Tribes 2 than this hunk of junk.

Game runs well however I do notice shadow artefacts on roundabouts and hills. Performance is great on a 3090RTX, 3900X 64GB RAM, Windows 11.

My favourite feature is that of the roundabouts just simply plop them in where two or more roads connect. I would have loved an easy way to do them over highways but I think I found a good solution.

All the mods I used to use in the first are now obsolete as the game comes with them as standard and are better than I could have hoped for.

It is a lot more difficult to stay positive in your income always hitting -6000/mo.

Refunded:
I played for 50 minutes before getting a refund.

The game would be great if there was more customised properties for your starting empire but unfortunately you will be playing the same start over and over. You only have 4 factions and after one play through of each it will get repetitive quickly. I know many people will have a blast playing the same thing over and over and over again and again. But not for me.
My RTS's of choice when I grew up were TA:Kingdoms and Earth 2150 Lost Souls. tbf TA:Kingdoms is still installed.
Games seem lack luster compared to games of the old. This seems to be one of those games, just a skin over Stellaris that limits everything you do down to playing it their way and their way only.
I am not a Star Trek fan, and got the game to see a new iteration of Stellaris, albeit built on the same foundation feels like it was built on the Beta version of Stellaris, none of the QOL features are present in this game. If you own Stellaris you will be greatly disappointed. It would be great if you have 4 friends who all wouldn't mind playing the different races that will net you 4 plays at least. 40-60 hours if it takes 10-15 hours to do a play through.

What you do get for your money is a beta version of Stellaris Engine (if you can call it an engine). More resources to manage, and a Star Trek Skin.
My biggest gripe is there will be no replayability in the game. Also starting out with a huge empire makes it overwhelming especially when the tutorial tells you nothing. Apart from scanning and moving Engineers, I only knew what to do because of Stellaris. You do need to click on stuff to find out what it does. Stellaris shouldn't be a prerequisite for a game that is not an expansion, sequel or pre-sequel. The icons are so small you can find it hard to click on things for quick access to Starbases or Planets from Galaxy View. The Game is very slow paced compared to Stellaris, even on the fastest speed it feels like half speed of Stellaris. And empire of that scale in stellaris would be netting you far more resources per month.

A cool feature is the Klingon voices, sounds authentic. Wish all the tips were in Klingon, would've added more immersion.

A game that seems all ok until you get a couple hours in and realise it is the same thing over and over and over. Just dig through blocks with no real goal to the game. Great for those who like to watch paint dry.

Unreal Engine 3? The game started development in 2011 So why use Unreal Engine 3? You could get Unreal Engine 4 in 2010.

Graphics are bad, poor texture resolution and bad polygon count.

Controls are Jank for an Action RPG and are Jank for an MMORPG and even Jankier for what ever this genre is.

Amazon joining queues for a company that has all the server space!!

Stupid loading times just to get to main menu.

Auctions require Premium currency to sell or buy.

The so called good reviews, well the developers must have paid them off the game is nothing like what the say.

So many bugs and glitches that get you killed.
In Some parts the game throws impossible odds at you with a time limit as well.
The game also causes Alt Tabbing to break or your computer to total lock up requiring a hard reset, even after exiting the game via in game menu.

When you die you loose all your medical supplies and durability on weapons and start the entire fight again.

Co-Op? what bloody co-op join for assistance, I don't see that very much co-op.

Just playing UT99 and they have moving clouds.

Unless you know how to build a deck in this game no point even playing. The deck builder only supports those who already know how to build decks. No help as to what is recommended, no indication what any of the Japanese symbols mean. Search for text option misses out blatantly obvious cards that do have the text you entered.
All the cards just have a massive wall of text that is tiny and difficult to understand what they mean and what other cards work with it.
Not new player friendly in the slightest.
