Don't buy this game, you aren't supporting to original dev team who actually put work into it, just some publisher ♥♥♥♥♥ who had to do shady ♥♥♥♥ to get what they wanted.

>do centrist run
>get called a pansy who hates change
>do fascist run
>get called a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idiot and laughed at the whole time
>do communist run
>get called out for not being a real communist like us real communists.

10/10 on all fronts, this game will change you,

A hack and slash Castlevania sounds good, but its combat needs to support it, and Lords of Shadow feels sluggish. I imagine I'm probably just not using it to its full potential, but it generally feels like there's a lack of power behind my swings when every enemy has multiple attacks that give it hyper armour.

In all the game feels like a blast from the past of all the things I don't miss, while still making up for it in a way that stops me from absolutely hating the game. You'll find incredibly simple puzzles, as in turn lever, step on platform, jump. The game will let you buy hints that just give the answer with the points you collect. There are random moments where they throw in a new mechanic for one enemy as a way to get you to explore the level, mainly chupacabras, which will at random with no way to stop take your skills and items forcing you on a goose chase to go get them back.

It's exactly what you suspect. A near-perfect blend of the fun and brutality of the classic DooM paired with the graphical quality of today. Staying true to its roots, this iteration of DooM brings the story along for the ride, you're the driving force behind what goes on. Even with a more silent protaganist than Gordan Freeman himself, our beloved Space Marine shows just the right amount of character development. Kudos to id Softwares team for doing things right.

Now let me explain why I actually reccomend this game.

The game itself is actually pretty good. It's fun to just sit there with random people and see what you can accomplish. Yeah it's another CounterStrike style game. For people who hate the CS community or who can't buy any of the CS games at the moment this is a great alternative. Hitreg can be really wonky but I blame that on the excessive recoil on some of the guns. Maps are kind of shaped weirdly. A lot of maps have interactive parts that aren't going to help because it's arena style gamemodes (no respawning unless it's specified in the mode itself).

What I hate about this game is it's pay to win. You download the game and it's fun. Have yet to meet a hacker. Then you join another server. These people put money in the game for a gun that they keep for a week. These guns are extremely powerful and basically win you games. If your team has some of these people on a TDM match you can basically spawn camp them. Corner camping is extremely powerful with these guns.

Edit: I forgot about this game. Was fun the few times I played it, but just like everyone else I played it for the black rose in tf2.

All in all I give this game a 6/10

Fun, free to play, game. Community can suck at times. Otherwise great game with some major content updates coming soon.
