I can play this game now even though its horribly optimized. Its very easy game, which is an unfortunate step away from the challenge presented in previous games. There is essentially no preparation, you dont have to grind a monster for parts to build gear and weapons to fight the next monster. There is also no need to buff or eat before a hunt. Skills are not needed and only serve to make hunts go from 6 min to 3 min. I hope the title update release harder monsters. To top it all off it is horribly optimized.

As a tech demo this game is very cool and has a lot of possibilities. However, since it is in early access do not expect a fully fleshed out game, in its current state it is very bare bones. There are obviously missing features and mechanics that can effect the gameplay experience negatively. Once you scavenge the playable map you have most likely reached the end of the gameplay loop. The roadmap they have provided seems like it will add interesting features and mechanics, but who knows if they will follow through.

For the asking price of $25 I would wait for a sale or until the game fully releases to play.

If this game was included in FC5 it would have made FC5 worth the $60, this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, youre not missing anything by not playing it. if you want to know what this game is like take FC5 strip half the content from it and there u go thats FC:New Dawn. The story is pretty much Jospeh dies knowing that he ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up, thats it. but if you wanna play this game wait for it to go on sale for like $10.

Far Cry 2 is better

Get this game but only when it has all the dlc on sale for 35.99, because once to buy the base game you cannot buy the complete pack to get all the dlc, its stupid.
