If you are spoiled by modern games that takes your hand to guide you, heal you in middle of firefight etc. etc..
Skip this game.

This games is the origin of arma series, one merciless motherload of tactical epicness and best game investment i ever made. (actually bought this game 2x, i've played it so much when it came out i ruined my discs)
No game ever have satisfied me like this one and thats why i'm always coming back to it.

Recommendations:
- CSLA mod, another 20 hours of mission/campaign and lots of weapons and vehicles
- when you get used to the game try setting dificulty to veteran, full simulation not even the little help thats in game will be provided (e.g: enemy tracking on map)

Pros n Cons
+ graphics (i'm serious)
+ tactical control over everything
(you decide when to do anything or when to call backups if available, absolute squad control etc...)
+ satisfying campaigns & missions ( huge variety of mission types )
+ sounds

o Some people might not like the controls, but i think they were pretty good imho
