Life is Strange is one of, no.. it is my favorite game of all time.
Max & Chloe's story was deeply touching and has stuck with me ever since I finished the original(s).
Double Exposure followed up on that, I'm sad that Chloe hasn't made a return in the way I was hoping but also understanding the characters need to move on, progress.

This story is really focused on Max & Safi, you won't explore vast worlds with huge amounts of locations but you will explore their characters.
Having finished it now I can safely say that: It's all I wanted.


Some quick positive points :

• Beautiful artstyle & animations
  I loved the light bouncing off of everyone's skin, the subtle facial expressions and attention to detail.
  
• Relatable characters
  Max has grown, in every way possible she's learned from what happened in Arcadia Bay
  
• Touching story

I've seen the "Mixed" review ratings, personally I don't agree with this being a bad game.
Despite the one extremely distasteful bit of cat DLC, way to go there..

I play any Life is Strange game when I need it most, after a breakup, hard times in life or most; recently surgery.
This was no different, I have my partner to thank for it. They know my absolute love for these games and how I am able to lose myself in them.
Every single poster in my office is connected to it, I keep the soundtracks in arms reach for when I need to decompress and out of all the games, movies and TV shows I've watched none have been on my mind as much or for as long as Life is Strange.

I'm nearing my mid 20's, having first played the original in 2019. Years after the initial release but in a way, I think that helped me get an honest view.. spoiler free too somehow.
Life hasn't always been easy on me, yet these games make that a lot more bearable. Their open acceptance of people that aren't normal is something I can't describe.

Honestly I had a blast playing Hot Persuit again!
There's some general EA Remaster jank but .. even the original wasn't perfect so I'm letting it slide.

A lot of reviews mention the EA Launcher being mandatory.
You indeed need it installed and it does have a tendency to sign you out after a few days of not opening it.
While this is annoying, it didn't at any point stop me from enjoying the game.
By no means is this an acceptable business practice though, remove the need for another third party launcher to run in the background and you'll instantly gain consumer satisfaction but .. since when does EA care about that?

While looking great, it's clearly a quicker remaster instead of a complete overhaul.
There's no lack in the feeling of speed, cars handle heavily but feel like they're spaceships once you engage nitrous!

What it "lacks" in graphics it more than makes up for in seriously kicking engine sounds
You feel the engines breathe, every revolution & combustion cycle leading to a howling V12 or roaring V8 putting down amazing power.

Law enforcement or racer?
I've honestly always preferred playing as a racer in the NFS games when given the choice.
You're mileage may vary, try some of each and if you get bored of being on the dark side you can always switch to the blue side..

Honestly worth the money if you can grab it during any of the Steam sales

and it still crashes .. a good bit.

I've left the franchise for a good while, after Black Ops 3 my love fizzled out.
Aside from the steep price of the game & battelpass; it's honestly good fun!
Guns feel balanced, players are toxic as ever & I even met some people who dated my mum!

You can't really go wrong with this one, it needs a beefy-ish PC to run at maximum settings and even then it is a little unstable..

People have had issues with the Anti-Cheat when this game launched, I *knock on wood* haven't have issues yet.

Then just BUY IT!
Did I mentioned it's from the same publisher that brought you Among Us, pretty sussy ngl

You're following a stick-man .. well no.. a Stickmin & not just any, you're pulling the strings, calling the shots, bossing over Henry Stickmin himself!

This 'lil bastard somehow has pockets that contain entire rocket launchers!
He is badass enough to take on the government if he so damn pleases yet given the chance .. might just .. join the top-side..


It's pure fun to explore all the alternate endings/fails & random awesomeness!
There's clearly a lot of laughs that were had during the making/remastering of this classic flash saga.
Even if you, like me; never played the originals because you were to busy playing every Spongebob Squarebottems flashgame put out then you'll probably still connect with it's randomness :p

I was excited, I had my hopes up saying 'the open beta just had a meh map' once it ended.
No, maps here are way too big & flat making snipers rule the battlefield.
Even with 128 players (yes yes, big number make brain go whaaa) it feels more empty & soulless than ever before.

But wait THERE'S MORE!

Such as :
- Vehicles being severely overpowered
- Operators are for Rainbow 6 Siege & CoD
- Destruction is downright disappointing
- Weather effects get boring after seeing a tornado for the 10th time (it's always the same and barely a threat)

Many reviews covered it already and I'm not putting in more effort than EA/Dice did.

Played since Battlefield 2, loved Bad Company 2 & have been on/off the series since I was young.
Get Battlefield 4 or Bad Company 2, if you want to have the WW1/WW2 setting; get Battlefield 1 or Battlefield 5.

This game cannot be fixed in post, I regret buying it deeply and cannot refund this hot piece of trash
There's so much missing that can be added but map design is pretty set & stone.
Don't say "Git gud"
I blow at shooters, I know that but I can have fun .. can't even do that here it's too bland; just like plain f**king oatmeal :

EA you RUINED many of my childhood franchises.
From Star Wars: Battlefront to my beloved The Sims and now Battlefield.
To the developers, I reckon they were hard on you; I'm grateful for everyone involved who tried but .. get out; it's a sinking ship with boatloads of money that keeps pulling it down.

Also release The Sims 2: Ultimate Collection digitally so people can enjoy games from when you didn't f**king ruin studios

You can engine-swap almost ANYTHING.
1965 Mustang with a V8 Diesel called the Cumstang? You got it!
Bright green Opel Manta from New Kids JONGUUHH? Make it, race it!
JDM Fanboy? Rejoice in JDM POWAAA?."
To the Golf boys, yes it's here and it sucks as much as it does in real life; get over your Golf GTI already -_-

It's genuinly fun .. yet frustrating to play with one or more friends.
People in a convoy suddenly vanish just to moments later re-appear for no reason at all; sometimes they even stay invisible.
Luckily once in a session that isn't freeroam you will not encounter this issue!

There is so much to do in FH5!
From off-road rally racing, to street racing & more mini-game type modes like Eliminator (PUBG with cars.)

This game looks gorgeous on most settings!
On Ultra however it looks downright perfect, some screenshots make you question if this was taken in-game or not..
Fun detail is that smoke got improved majorly over FH4.
Which means those sick burnouts & donuts will now look even more impressive!

Sound has been improved as well, all cars now have very distinct engine notes.
New intake? Sound changes!
Bigger turbo? Sound changes!
i6TT .. eardrums orgasm..

Forza Horizon 5 is a genuinely good game.
After spending 14 hours in less than 3 days I'm hooked, from the map, scenery to the selection of cars you'll have a blast!
You might also get the urge to buy a secondary beater car IRL, neither I or the developers are responsible for unresponsible spending of money on motorcycles/cars after playing this game or any other in the series.

Instead of buying that new overpriced game, remember for the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ price you can BUY (as in own forever, until you die or your house burns down) an :

- HDMI Upscaler $ 5 (Aliexpress Special, 5 bucks .. works like a charm)
- Thrift store copy of the PS2 version $ 10 (Got mine at a small stand at ComicCon for 7 bucks)
- PS2 Slim in awesome shape with controller for $ 35

Surprice mothaf**ka, you just spent $ 50 on a better experience.
Buy a hot coffee with the remaining $ 10 at your local massage parlor.

& Rockstar, TakeTwo; f**k off forever.
We grew up with your games, we expect more from you!
Once upon a time a Rockstar logo was a sign of quality, not some joke Gameloft would slap on the appstore.

A bit clumsy at first, especially the inconsistent rubber banding works against you
But once you can get yourself over that, there's a surprisingly solid NFS game here!

Simply one of my favorite games ever.
A deeply touching story & lovable characters go a long way~
