Somewhat more modern CRPG similar to Baldurs Gate etc. Good combat system, plenty of class/build customization, hundreds of hours of replayability. PoE1 is my favorite RPG in recent years. The sequel is worse in some areas (combat, story, world building), better in others (overall production value, better use of the various factions), but still some of the best the genre has to offer these days.
