An incremental game that will end in under 2 hours, therefore not occupying any space in your head, but in your heart instead.

Early access, rather sparse in content at time of writing.

Loving the Shoppe Keep feel to it. Eagerly looking forward to more content.

Play it for the story and the many secret nook and crannies that gives you gear and more tidbits.

Wonderfully simplified version of what's harder to play out there, that takes away a lot of the building placement considerations that tend to bother players who aren't so much into the management aspect. Keeps the difficulty high enough for the casual player by keeping the essentials such as Pop type needs, building densely for Service coverage, resource produced/demand, simple combat, Trading and others.

Add to that the mining aspect that substitutes as map exploration, with a simple to understand story with voiced dialogues. There's innovation here and there to keep things new like separate pop types that only need maintenance underground.

My favourite part of this game (gameplay-wise) is moving cargo. The worker still needs to move raw materials from Warehouse to production building and then take the finished product back, but there's no need to build a chain of warehouses and teamsters to move product to Markets. There's not even that annoying Market building in this game!

There are 2 schools of thought for Snowrunner tyres;

1) Look up the tire spreadsheet, select the tyres that have the best Mud rating or best Total (dirt+mud) rating.

2) Taking into account weighted down trucks with slimmer tyres that cut through mud, hitting the dirt below and using the dirt rating of the tyres. Or simply preferring dualies for the extra stability, sacrificing some mud rating.

This DLC greatly benefits the first group.

[Verdict]
You do not need this, the vanilla tyres are good enough. But if you've been playing hundreds of hours of Snowrunner, do the devs a solid.

"I WAS SUPPOSED TO BE SAVING LIVES!", I wail as I send the Flu patients into the DENY folder. All that resource and manpower for them to tell me to social distance and wear a mask.

Bought just to drive KAMAZ. Had to be patient with the TATRA for awhile. It was good.

Love driving team KAMAZ. Never cared for the other categories.

Can't drive more KAMAZ because of the frequent crashes. Hate crashes.

Hate Petronas Iveco. Hate Instaforex Praga. Not racist, just don't like em.

Devs are listening and doing away with some notifications. Keep it up Devs!

All the fun of Dungeon Village and more, except for the damn notification window in the middle that freezes the game every time.

The devs already inserted pop-up notifications on the left and bottom of the screen, somehow they insist on keeping that tab popping up and stopping the game every few seconds. I don't need gameplay frozen just to tell me I got 20 town points.

Devs please transfer all notifications to the side or bottom pop-ups. Let the game run, maybe stop it for only the most important things.

2 things I will praise in this game are the gorgeous close-up art style and art style in general, and the goodest boi Onbu.

On the gameplay side, it's a little easy. But that's till more content comes. For now challenge comes from achievement hunting.
