Back 4 blood review

Back 4 Blood is an alright game. This game had potential but failed to deliver being a fun CO-OP zombie game.
The card system could’ve been implanted better with some cards being permanent passive alibies while some temporary. Picking up cards never felt rewarding, as even if you go down the horde’s holes the player can still find mid cards and not a lot of good ones to fight against enemy.

When playing on harder difficulty instead of the special enemy granting a bonus to do extra damage and etc. They just throw the player countless of special at them with buffs mind you, not finding it fun at all to play on the extra difficulties. What should’ve happened is they should’ve increased the normal horde spawn, and just leave the spawn special at the same spawn rate with buffs.

Would’ve it killed turtle rock to allow the player to keep their gear at the end of a session, after reaching a check point? If you decided if you wanted to take a break after finding a checkpoint, you will find yourself missing everything. This is especially bad if you’re playing on the harder mode, good luck trying to get the best gear back. I don’t know who made this decision but you win the dawn award in this area.

This game was quickly abandoned with not so much of a community supporting it. Would’ve killed them to have extra dlc and allow mod support in the game? Sounds like they made a product but were not confidence it will work out.
Get this game on sale or If you want a better zombie game go and play Left 4 Dead 2. Unlike Back 4 Blood, the Left 4 Dead community is still at large to this date.

Borderlands 3 Review

This is when borderland meets quirky tick tok and streamers online, and puts them in a videogame. Just see how the twins they ended up being with your classic Hey Hey Super fans how’s it going? Don’t forget the countless and internet reference the game throws at you, with some being funny while mostly its not.

The story of the game is bad there’s no saving grace to it as you progress it just gets worse. The start was a good introduction to the villains and who you’re facing with, but that’s the only positive thing about it. Borderlands 3 still has some of recurring characters from the previous games which is a nice however, some are written badly or tone down to point where they all act and sound the same. The worst written character of all time just has to be Ava, why was she written so badly to the point you just want to throw her off the space ship. O BOY the scene with Ava and Mya has got to be the laziest scene ever, whoever thought of that should win prize of best direction (trying to avoid spoilers).

Why do the boss fights need to take long to do? Borderlands is a fast pace FPS there’s no excuse to drag out boss fights for so long, WHY do we need to stop for 5 mins just to wait until the boss is ready to fight. Not every boss needs to stop and take a break to catch their breath, I personally understand for the last section of butttt come on almost every boss needs it? Fights in borderlands DON’T need to be drag out.

There was improvement with the gameplay since the previous borderlands game; with ability to jump on edge of object and much smoother gameplay overall. The side quest in the game were alright, there were a few stinkers like the coffee quest for example.

To the Moon Series Beach Episode

The story to the game is good as always is what you expect in a too the some series. The ost is nice to listen to I expect no less from this developer. However the mini games weren't as fun and the surface board controls just felt awkward to play. This chapter feels like a DLC then a standard alone game. I would recommend getting this game on sale its way too short compare to the others.

Final Fantasy 7 Review

FF7 (Final Fantasy 7) seems a little bit overrated game from the FF community makes it out to be. Story was good not perfect however; the game does find a way to keep players entertain. The story could’ve been better in some areas and situation, like for example you only got to fight Rufus once and that it, and he’s this arching villain we only get to see but not even fight a lot.
At the time FF7 did push the limits to what PlayStation was capable at the time with their FMV. The FMV are a bit dated by today standards but man do they look stunning. The only issue is that you can’t skip the FMV’s. The OST to this game is really good, Square Enix should release it officially on Steam.

There was some unnecessary fluff to the game with some of their mini games. Some of the mini games didn’t outstay their welcome while others did. Mini games like Chocobo Racing in order to progress you had to make it to first place, so you didn’t come first it’s a restart. Another one is snowboarding mini game where it seems like it took forever to get anywhere. Let not forget some of the time mini game that was presented in the game, where some wasn’t a major requitement to progress but felt unnecessary like with safe in the mansion in order to get Vincent. These are just some of the examples of the mini games not being engaged and just put in for the sake of it.

The FF7 port should’ve had some TLC to it and should’ve been release as a proper remaster. If you wish to experience the game in HD, and bypass the sign in requitement use 7th heaven. Its hard to get it working on the steam deck but not impossible to get around. The community made a good job at giving the game some TLC, then Square Enix will ever do in their entire life.

Overall the game is pretty solid, just be prepare with some of the unnecessary fluff the game may throw at you.

*If my hours are showing 13 hours gameplay its because i played the title on the steam deck*

Pocket Waifu: Desktop Pet review

A cute and simple Desktop pet you can have around when your doing work or playing a game. It still lacks some features and I wish it didn't take forever to get her affection level high. I personally don't recommend hitting preview on any items at this stage or else your going to see a floating head.

Early Access Review
Phasmophobia review

Phasmophobia has been in early access for for over four years. The game has seen some improvement and downfalls throughout its life.

There has been some improvement such as

More maps being introduce some even getting a redesign.
New equipment being introduce and re working some old.
Increase development team.
Sometimes optimisation is alright

New ghost types
Console port
These are significate improvement but tis not really a lot in the grand scheme with things like
Horror path 2.0 still missing.
Community base event was horrible.
Slow out rolling updates like maps and new gameplay elements.
Texture or sound effects need quality life improvement.

It good to see the developer coming a single or to couple people working on the project to a small team, in that it’s a good accomplishment in itself. However, making decision like releasing a console port while the PC version is in early access doesn’t seem great. Its’ great it got a console port however, with the game still being in early access, it means they have to update both console version and pc; this means big updates will be harder to roll out.
It’s been four years and texture to the farmhouse still hasn’t been fix on the outside, and how does it still sound like the character is playing basketball in the farmhouse. It’s a bit tiresome to see the game in a bit of a state and slightly buggier and wired lighting texture occurring.

As a recommendation don’t lock a game feature behind a grindy community event or as the next big update. Next time please release it as a normal update.
When the game is in a better state I look at updating the review at the moment am beyond frustrated with the game. Hopefully continue going forward the game updates would be more meaningful

Okami review

Okami is such a good and unique looking game you won’t really find anywhere else. The game gives off an artistic feeling like you’re playing through a moving art piece. However, it is lock to 30fps for the pc version.

The gameplay is also unique its not first of its kind but set itself apart from your typical JRPG. It introduces a brush mechanics that the player will use in order to process throughout game by finding secret areas, helping NPC and using it in combat. While there is a good selection of Yokai to fight, you will find yourself battling the same kind almost throughout the game.
There weren’t a lot of issue with the pc port beside a few things like:

- Input delay occur with using Xbox one controller this could’ve been my end. I recommend you play with keyboard and mouse.

- Sometimes you find yourself battling the camera and it will give you random angles especially if Okami is sprinting.

- This game is not map properly with Steam deck controller input, you will have to tinker with it in order to fully play it on the steam deck.

Overall the port is stable I recommend grabbing it on sale or full price.

A lot people have seemed to forget or just not sure. Okami does have a squeal call Okami Den, which was release for 3ds. I hoping one day it gets a remake because the 3ds version is limit in terms of graphics and gameplay.

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy

IIt’s good to see the collection coming to all modern platform really. The only way you could play Ace Attorney Apollo Justice on the DS, Dual Destiny and Sprite of Justice on 3DS. With the Eshop close down there wasn't a way to obtain the game including the DLC, unless otherwise. It’s great to see all 3 games get a HD remaster with DLC and additional content to included. It’s worth the price even at a discount.

The issue that was present in the HD remaster, was with some of the characters being on the witness stand looking low resolution. This was only noticeable in 4 and 5, with only some of the characters being effect. The characters looked like they got the Vaseline filter on. However, most of the time characters looked fine.
Looking forward to be playing Miles Edgeworth Investigations.

When the odds are mostly stack against you, and when the market place full of brink of common/rare banana thanks to bots you cant really sell anything.

The value of the bananas don't really go up unless you wait months on end.

The only positive thing about it's a picture of a banana and the desgin are either fun or funny to see🍌

Psychonauts Review

Psychonauts had an engaging and interesting story with enjoyable characters to listen too. Each mind Rees enters there will always be a memory vault lying around, giving you a small backstory of each individual. When Raz obtain a new abilities, I would recommend you try it on different characters to see their reaction. The world to each level is nicely designed and fits the theme of each character Raz is trying to save or complete very creative. After finish is finish there are always things to do and find around camp!

The game has got some input lag when using controller. This is only noticeable in the menu (in game) not doing any sort of action movement when playing as Raz. I played this game with an Xbox One controller, during my experience and did not have any issue.

The game is playable on the steam deck however, it can take some time to get it to work. My personal experience to get it playing on the deck I used Protan Experiment through the Steam Deck combability. The Deck does mimic the controller input however it will only show the keyboard input instead e.g Space bar > is actually the A button on the deck. There is a guide on how to fix the layout will change to the right input scheme it but I eventually got use to this setting.

Some Times the key binding on the PC will magically somehow mess up with different button inputs this is only occurs if someone planning to play both on the steam deck on PC. How I fix simply go to restore by default it will fix that issue.

I highly recommend you play this game on the PC not on the Steam Deck
