Game is brutal, yet fun with friends. Solo runs can be interesting, or boring.

This game is basically meant for anyone, really. Good game and more than just shooting zombies. If you're into Rust, you'll have a good time playing Unturned, especially with friends.

Fun game to play with friends honestly. Hardly ever frustrating and you feel great with what you've accomplished in the game with your friends. Game keeps you busy with many chores to choose from. Fishing, fighting bosses, mining, building, etc etc.

I highly recommend this game, 100%.

I bought this game around Fall 2018 for full price. I enjoyed Shadow of Mordor and thus, was expecting more content. I can safely say I wasn't disappointed at all. Game is fun to play, even in 2021.

There are countless youtubers that have their channels dedicated to this game. The nemesis system and other mechanics are greatly delivered.

Is it worth the full price even in 2021? That's up to you. I'd suggest wait for sales to drop. But either way, I say it's worth getting it.

Been playing since 2011-2012. It was a fun mmorpg to play either solo or friends.

Fast forward today, I can safely say I don't hold any interest in this game. Mainly because time changed and people move on with their lives. Elsword is no longer a game I can keep up with and is incredibly tedious.

Raid contents are, ok. PvP is no longer exciting as matches can end in less than a minute. Progression is minimal regardless of how much grinding you put into since RNG is a big factor when it comes to upgrading your gear.

New gear just simply powercreep old armors and not only is hard to get them and increase their effectiveness, but you are limited to how much grinding you can do in this game due to the time locked system and limited drops.

The new character did not give me any spark for playing the game again. I don't even have fun with my main anymore. This game evolved from simple chores to a side hustle (hyperbolic yes, but you get the idea).

Do I recommend this to new players? Depends:
-If you simply want to relax and have fun with friends: Not really, there are far better games to enjoy with friends
-If you want to play an MMO that is extremely grindy and are into it: Yes
-If you want an unique art style and characters: Yes
-Do you simply want to be a PvE player (Player vs Environment)?: Sure, this game is popular for that now. PvP is dead and no longer rewarding.

However, do keep in mind this game has evolved into a Pay to Progress. Lots of players still call it pay to win and they're not entirely wrong. However, loading up in game currency with your wallet is not a guaranteed success into progression. There is still a harsh RNG system.

If you're like me who just wants a PvE MMO, this might be the game for you if you do not mind the tedious grinding you have to do. At least it's still enjoyable with friends regardless of how limited it is.

Updating my review because I was 15 when I reviewed it:

In the past 7 years, TF2 was at its worse. Bots plagued the game, we were getting no updates from the developpers for 7 years after Jungle Inferno.

In 2024, they finally took action by removing the bots. But I will still say that Valve is horrible. It took them this long to notice TF2 was at a decline. They didn't bat a single eye until they noticed the review bomb and one of the employee at Valve wanted to play the game and noticed it was infested with bots.

Valve is no longer what we once knew. People immediately forgive Valve and praise them after 7 years of abandon and depression.

We've receive no updates after Jungle Inferno. I do not count crates and maps as content. If I'm being honest, 90% of the past updates we've received after Jungle Inferno are actual slop.

We don't need this many unusual effects. We don't need this many maps. We don't need to make TF2 act like other games, more gamemodes is fine, but to the point that it heavily modifies the core and identity of the game, just play something else.

We have players in the workshop community trying to add content that are not welcomed nor needed for the game and openly admitted they're in it for the profit.

We haven't received balance changes, no weapon tweaks, buffs or nerfs for the classes (Mediguns mirroring the movement speed of their healing target, Spy movement speed matches with Medic, etc).

But why is my review positive? Because it can still be enjoyed. It's a great game that honestly can't be replaced by anything else. Almost 6k hours as of writing this review and I'll keep playing till the end of time.

I love the game, I hate the company responsible for handling the game. Valve is not what we once think it was. We're slowly being abandoned and the player base are being oblivious because ignorance is a bliss.

Yet, I still recommend you play it. Masterpiece of a game, unique artstyle, love put into developement of the game, community brought by multiple players from across the globe. TF2 achieved accomplishments no other games will let you feel.
