Ok, so I bounced off this game after about 10 hours when it originally came out. The main reasons being that the missions although graded seemed to have completely random difficulty and there not being much variety in mission type. So I left it a couple of years and recently got hold of all the current DLC packs so thought I'd give it another try so here's what I think...

Wow, the game really has improved and the DLC adds a lot of extra flavour as well as new environments and Mechs. The missions grades can still be a little off but I've decided to look at it as if you wouldn't know 100% what you were walking into before hand and your team do give you useful advice now in regards to what may be lurking in the combat zone. The graphics now run really smoothly whereas in the past I had to turn off various graphic options as they were bugged so that's a big plus. The Flashpoints really help with immersion and in general for me the game now feels like what I expected it to be at launch. I do think the DLC is a bit on the pricey side though so I'd recommend getting the DLC in a bundle or discount sale. In general though I am loving this game.
