Look, to keep it simple, this is by far the best RPG to come around in decades. It's phenomenal in every way. Progression is great, each character plays uniquely in combat, the writing is stellar, the intrigue and story delivery/pacing are top of the line, it's beautiful and finally the music is absolutely incredible.

Just buy it. This game is, literally, a work of art.

This game is by far the best "Vampire Survivors" inspired 'clone' I've played. The systems are very detailed, the graphic style is phenomenal, there's tons of weapons, modifiers and meta progression to keep you going, really neat challenge runs to multiply meta progression currency, a very in-depth equipment/forge system in place, etc.

The game has a very, very good tooltip/hover-over-for-description setup too with tons of live stat breakdowns so you'll come to learn the systems incredibly well, unlike others where you're living in Wikis or throwing runs away for experimentation.

This is a very high quality, very easy buy if you're looking for a VS clone. I've played like 25+ different ones and this one easily stands out on top. It's simply phenomenal.

Pretty neat little game! Definitely a bit short; would love to have seen the 'factory' become a bit more necessary and involved but it was a good game to idly work on while watching some videos. Definitely worth the small price tag though!

This is an active-play game, but there are no stressors to worry about. I think the game would benefit from a 'total amount of item required for end-game goal' number somewhere, as I definitely spent a bunch of time crafting a stack of items you didn't need many of in the end, and with nothing to do after the goal it just felt a little wasteful. However, this would shorten the play-time if you knew the exact number of items to craft so... Maybe not.

Either way, good game!

Honestly just a supreme experience. Tons of fun, good variety and plenty of goofiness and that's only coming off the end of Act 2.

Simply another banger and must-play experience. Nothing else really needs to be said.

Edit: The final section of this game is the most phenomenal execution of a phenomenal idea ever. What an original concept flawlessly done. I doubt I'll ever experience such an original bit of gameplay again, but I'm glad I got to at least once.

Very nice game! Super simple but has the right 'idle' progression pacing and upgrades. Do be clear, it is not an idle game, not really, you will have to regularly be digging/'prestiging', but it's such a simple action that you can do at whatever pace you want that it still counts. Especially for such a short completion. Very reminiscient of Gnorp Analogue, honestly.

Very well presented and easily recommended! Only complaint is there are no bunnies (or rats!) in the game D:<

Sadly, I simply can't recommend this game. It's beautiful, and has a decent (uncompleted) story but there are way too many issues still unresolved, even 3 years later.

1) Maps/instances will reset *immediately* upon leaving an area. Even if it's a small zone inside a map for a mini-quest, when you leave that mini-zone back to the overarching map everything will be different. New map generation, minimap cleared, new mobs spawned. This includes when portalling back to town. This also includes towns themselves, they haven't even made it so the minimaps in towns persist (towns never change layout). This has been a known, running problem addressed by them for about 3 years now.

2) The online play is awful; the desync is terrible and constant. You will see almost half the enemies you kill not do a death animation, and instead stand up straight or run in place with a health bar there. However, they will not agro you and will actually be dead. It's incredibly janky looking and really ruins the vibe.

3) Projectiles, particularly from bows, will regularly stop mid-air in various rooms as if they're hitting some sort of invisible wall or obstacle. This is another known bug for about 3 years, still not addressed. This is a particularly bad one as should be evident, and still no attempt at any fix all this time.

The devs do not have the right priorities set, and it's actually a bit shameful they released something this broken and amateur feeling as a 1.0. Too many bad choices on what to focus while keeping the actual game broken and refusing to repair prevents this from being a fun, polished ARPG and instead feeling like a tiny underfunded project/demo.

Edit some months later:

It appears they fixed the monster desync issue as well as the projectiles hitting random walls regularly, which is fantastic. However, the mini-map/zones resetting everytime you leave a location is so incredibly awkward and annoying I simply can't change this to recommended yet.

Nerf after nerf after nerf, and not even for the classes that need it. There was literally only ONE, barely viable caster class and they just destroyed it by making meta-gem casts literally 10x worse. Instead of getting a max cast of one per large pack, it now takes almost TEN separate packs to get a single meta cast. There is no alternative caster build that can progress.

Helldivers 2 philosophy will kill you. I've already spent over $400, and you've lost me until release. GFY.

This game was, quite simply, an unexpected surprise.

If you like meta-writing like Stanley Parable/The Beginner's Guide this is very much in a similar vein and done very well. Unlike those other two (this isn't a complaint of the other two), there is actual gameplay here that's actually incredibly fun and very unique.

Good chunk of stuff to find, well-placed secrets, awesome voice acting and good traversal. It honestly has it all. It may be a bit short but it's absolutely an exciting experience.

Absolutely amazing. The characters are all awesome (playable bunny please) with the best dang OST I've ever heard.

Honestly wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did, was worried the political/Game of Thrones style lore would be off-putting but color me surprised. Snagged the game to test out new custom Dualsense controller and really glad I did.

The story, scenes and combat (normal and Eikon) are all fantastic and I would recommend a playthrough if you like action-style combat like DMC. It's much simpler, but waaay improved in all aspects over FFXV combat system.
