Was not feeling the vibes of the game until 1.0 release. Very creative takes on units. Just wish stats and info was more easily accessible and understandable on trade offs between weapons which is good which isn't, etc.

One of the most realistic military sandbox games out there, if not the most realistic and most diverse. One can argue that games like Squad and the coming Post Scriptum are more "realistic", but Arma 3 surpasses both in terms of community support and development, and continued content from the developers. It's story is rich, and it's Zeus mode allows for every multiplayer game to be different. There are usermade and default game modes for everyone to enjoy. There are the standard shoot the bad guys good, PVP - King of the Hill, island life, and escape from said island. Arma 3 has it all. There are simply so many mods out there, anything one possibly wants is likely here in some form or another.

Arma 3 is a realistic sandbox whereas Squad is a realistic first person shooter originating from Battlefield. So if you want a rich singleplayer experience, a fun and creative multiplayer environment, and the ability to make your own missions and content, Arma 3 is definitely worth it. If it's on sale, that's a blessing. It's certainly worth what it's listed as. As long as you can run it, that is.

9/11 Good game for RTS Fans

Very excellantly crafted game. The simplicity and small class oriented style makes for a fun multiplayer. The Campaign was awesome, and in my opinion does not need an explanation as to why. The sheer plot and style of execution speaks for itself. Going back to the multiplayer, if you look at games like Battlefield 3 & 4 the sheer amount of customization is new compared to Bad Company 2, but at the same time Bad Company 2 provides for a simipler but still fun [competitive] experience.
