As a POE 1 player, the experience is completely different not in a bad way. POE 1 had a knowledge gap for progression but POE 2 is more of a skill gap for progression. It simplified how skills gems work which is helpful for new players to understand. The Act 1 boss is harder than any of the Act 1-10 bosses in POE 1. I was used to movement skills in POE 1 to get around faster such as Flame Dash but this game is just slower in combat and movement.

Best ARPG during endgame but has a huge learning curve. Still learning something new every time due to the sheer amount of content that has been kept from previous seasons. The game could improve with helping newer players understand the mechanics instead of having people figure it out. Any other ARPG for a veteran POE player will probably feel inferior.

Pleasantly surprised to easily sink over 100 hours into this game. This game could be described as mix of Monster Hunter with better movement mechanics and better hit boxes.

Still waiting for Bungie's "renewed focus on pvp"
