Casual playlist MMR isn't strict enough, I want to enjoy myself when I play this game, not get completely obliterated by someone who clearly is too good to be matched against me

The only reason I am recommending this is because I want the developers to make a sequel that isn't so abysmally short, I am ALWAYS disappointed when I'm absorbed into an atmosphere for a game and then it ends abruptly

But....

It is a fantastic non-euclidean game and the story was simple yet worked really well with the style and setting. There was 2 puzzles that utilised the non-euclidean format in a really interesting way and the way the world changed as I moved around made for some good exploration whilst keeping the map small as to not get boring, there was also a lot of cool visuals

Another brilliant entry into the Supraverse. The developers have hit home AGAIN with the cleverly made puzzles that are both challenging yet achievable without needing to bash your head against a wall (although a couple of moments had me tempted.. courtesy of a certain developer who shall not be named! You know who you are). There is a fine line between puzzles being both fun and interesting and being both challenging and guiding you just enough to not get lost and yet again they've walked that line with confidence in itself as a game.

Supraland created a promise to the people. A promise of tone, atmosphere, exploration and pacing and Six Inches Under has done very well to deliver on that. It brings me great joy to see how far Supra Games has come, growing from the 1 person who made the first game to a team who hasn't strayed from the path David walked before them. This game kept all the elements from the first Supraland that made it so iconic for me and this is an incredibly fresh yet familiar experience.

The combat has been evolved to something far more sophisticated than what was given in the first game, enemies are now a threat instead of a mild annoyance but they've also become tools you'll learn to utilize as you venture off down under. This game has actually made me realise how underwhelming the combat system is in the original which I'd hate to say anything bad about it but I think it goes to show how much the developers listen and learn from what they've done before instead of becoming complacent with themselves. Growth and being transformative is essential for a franchise to not become stale.

I genuinely did love this game, I love the personality that's been thrown into it by the people who clearly love games like these, to describe this game as a mix of Portal, Zelda and Metroid is not a disservice to those franchises.

Once again, as a fan of puzzles and as a fan of exploration I am inspired and I look forward to what's to come in this developers future.

As someone with aspirations in game development I'd love to work for this company

Buy on sale, I 100%'d the game in 3 hours

This is a very creepy game with some great dialogue, it is visually incredible and feels very reminiscent of portal.

The puzzles however are kinda meh for the most part only really getting difficult towards the end of the game, maybe I've just played too many puzzle games but it's rather uninteresting to have 90% of your puzzles be relocating 2 different objects, I am oversimplifying it but still

10/10 atmosphere
6/10 puzzles

Journeying into the unknown and consistently having your perception of reality shattered over and over. This is a heart warming psychotic emotional experience. It is quite expensive for the time you get out of it though.

Dark Souls is so inspired, this DLC is not. It is hard for the sake of being hard, it just throws a whole bunch of enemies at you at the same time and none of it is remotely mechanically interesting, the place isn't very fun to explore, the bosses aren't fun and it's just a stressful experience without the adrenaline pumping excitement that the rest of the game has provided me, I was sceptical of buying this due to the mixed reviews and I should've trusted them. Do not buy this.

I wanted to like this game so much, I was gifted this game by a stranger from reddit and I didn't want to feel as if I wasted their money

This game is beautiful, graphically, audibly, narratively, but mechanically is not interesting at all and the developers should've invested more time into making the game fun to play, not just fun to experience artistically

The amount of objects and lore behind those objects is insane and unnecessary, for the most part they add nothing interesting to the game except to convolute it making it a chore getting started as a new player

The combat is completely underdeveloped which results in it being boring, the enemies are interesting but it's the knight himself who is boring to play as, offering no decent variety in mechanics

The level design is incredibly meh, not offering any challenging platforming or any interesting exploration

An incredible game and I hope that there will be sequel.

The mechanics are spot on perfectly blending the metroidvania and dark souls genres while making the game have a story mode option for people to enjoy the game without forcing themselves to stress out bashing their head against a wall like dark souls. This game definitely felt like it took inspiration from Ratchet and Clank which as a huge fan of that franchise I was happy with the parallels I saw between the two.

My only issue with this game is that the optimization is so poor and leaves so much to be desired that it actually pissed me off to no end. Every now and then the game will just freeze for extended periods of time, the longest freeze I've had was about 90 seconds long and while you can still enjoy the game it really breaks up your momentum especially when your experience this freezing multiple times in a row. I spent upwards of 7 out of 10 minutes of the game freezing for 40 seconds, unfreezing for 5 seconds and then immediately freezing again.

A small price to pay for a great addition to the star wars story with great game play.
