I just bought this game and was really enjoying it, but they just released an update that changes the core game mechanics and makes it nearly impossible to play for new players. Severely disappointed.

UPDATE: To the surprise of many it seems that Sony actually listened to the players and retracted their mandatory account linking. I am still skeptical and if Sony tries pulling any more BS I will change this review back to "Do not recommend". For now, however, I recommend this game to pretty much everyone, it is a fantastic game and deserves to be given another chance.


The game itself is great but unfortunately there's been another case of corporate greed ruining a great product, nice work Sony.

Just as gorgeous as the first game and the story is a perfect continuation. If you like a great story game with amazing graphics, this is the game for you.

If you like looter shooters then you will most likely enjoy this game. The amount of content this game has considering it's a free to play is unreal. The only downside is that because they've been adding content steadily over the course of years is that it can be overwhelming to start, and you will go through a major learning curve. However, if you do decide to pick up Warframe the community is outstanding and you can usually find someone to help you out or answer questions; there's even an in game help chat channel specifically for that and plenty of 3rd party sites that are great tools to use.

Difficult but enjoyable, and the scenery is incredible.

Single player is a very interesting game and I would recommend playing it that way. However, the multiplayer is extremely laggy, and pretty much unplayable. Very disappointed in the multiplayer which I was looking forward to and it needs significant work to be enjoyable.

The game itself is gorgeous, and the story line is very interesting (albeit very weird). The only issues I've had is that due to the resolution and some of the most realistic graphics I've ever seen, the cutscenes can be a bit choppy even with a beefy computer (I'm running a 1080ti with a clock). Also wish the controls were a bit more refined because they can be very frustrating at times, especially the vehicles. There's also this annoying glitch that happens when you use an xbox controller to play where if you hit a button once it will perform multiple button presses in game (Like opening the map, only to have it close and reopen 2 more times). I've looked for solutions and apparently it goes away if you use a ps4 controller or download it on the epic store, seems to only happen on steam and will hopefully get patched out at some point.

Used to be a good game until epic took over, especially with this latest update. They've basically downgraded the game from what it was before. Do not recommend whatsoever. Well its been a few months since I posted this review so I figured I would update. I was hoping that the issues introduced by epic would slowly get fixed but they have somehow made the game even worse. Every update they release brings more and more frustration to the point where I think this game is just a lost cause now.
