I would go neutral on the rating of this game. However, I'm going to vote a positive, as I don't agree with most of the negative reviews here. The writing is still good, it still feels like Class of '09. However again- I did not like that Re-Up had less choices than the first game, and this one has even less. This is just basically a movie at this point. A funny movie, but still- give me more damn choices.

The most fun I had for years with a video game. Since It Takes Two to be exact.
Keep up with the amazing releases <3
We need more co-op games.

I leave a negative review with a heavy heart. I absolutely L O V E the art style of this game, the music is pretty decent too. However, in my last two games I encountered bugs with the core mechanic of the game, when sometimes cards just simply refused to fuse or stack into each other, basically ruining hour long run.
Also, there aren't enough opportunities presented to plan on building for a playstyle. Maybe I just haven't 'grinded' enough to unlock every content. My enthusiasm didn't last long enough to do so and that says something.
This game needs better progression and hammering out those run ending bugs that may arise.

The support systems are now refined and tolerable, crashes happen less often. The performance of this game is still horribleon higher graphics setting, but its okay.
The core gameplay has been always good, but the reworked talent trees did wonders.
All we need is more content now. Keep at it! :)

I'm writing this as someone who loved Lobotomy Corp and eagerly waited for ProjectMoon's next game.

This game- is a sad representation of the modern game industry. I do not care, that the monetization in this game is okay for a gacha game. Everything in this game is designed for you to spend money on random cosmetic gachas basically. The core gameplay is not even that engaging, it can literally play itself.

Just look at the pretty banners and slash arts you can buy in the convoluted system of premium currencies, battle passes, limited time and regular banners with the single or multiple drops and special promotions. Gameplay is not important.

I did not want another -spend your money simulator- gacha game.
I crossed out ProjectMoon from the compies whose games I look forward to.

Wow, you have did it again team. The art, the writing and jokes are all still 10/10 while keeping this universe fresh with new gameplay mechanics.
I was worried that the jokes and writing may get worse by Monster Camp as you run out of ideas, but I was wrong.
I was worried that the jokes and writing may get worse by Monster Roadtrip then as you run out of ideas, but I was wrong yet again, thankfully.

I love this series and you proove time and time again you work on it until it's done.
Thank you. ❤️‍🔥

The developers use in-game updates, posts and blogs to promote hate speech, antiwaxxing and transphobic messages. They have become some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ who threaten everyone with extermination who don't follow the truth of the bible.
People obviously started to downvote and Steam rightfully doesnt allow them to delete the critical negative reviews anymore. I can't ask for a refund unfortunately as I bought htis game 5 years ago.

Is gameplay good with the Ogres? Yes.
Is sending a good message to the company to stop cutting out content and reselling it as Day1 DLC? Even better.

If the company makes the DLC free I'll change my review to positive immediately.

My review shifted like 4 times now since the launch of this game. As promised previously, I'm not changing it back ever again. I am a veteran Total War player, started with the first ever Shogun game and followed TWW1 and TWW2 with every release.

At launch TWW3 the game ran slow, but fine. I even liked it, despite the bad reviews. Since then I upgraded my PC and everything runs better...except this game...that somehow runs WORSE. I have never leaved a negative review because of performance before. I had multiple hard crashes, normal crashes, my save files of 30+ hour campaings got corrupted multiple times, because the devs released patches and "hotfixes" 3 years after release that changed fundamental strings in the code. Rollback was not an option. AI turns from slow turned into a chugging mess, both cpu and gpu heavy, taking up to 5-10 minutes to pass at least. I could literally go for a run around the block and return before it was my turn again.

I bought all the DLC until this point and this is the service I receive... They are just building content on top of a bad foundation and it's crumbling. I worked as a game design content creator in the game industry so I've seen this before. When an engine is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ spaghetti code and there are barely a few seniors left who -could- potentially untangle it through months of hard work, but they just simply don't give an f anymore and task their team to create more content to please upper management. Whatever.

Buy Medieval 2 or Shogun 2 instead or turn to other types of strategy games like Stellaris, Crusader Kings or Against the Storm. See ya.
