Its still pretty fun after all these years

DAY 1 : Failed to join server
DAY 2 : Failed to join server
DAY 3 : create the Hulk - wake up on a sunny beach turn right and face to face with giant scorpion
Use my fists of fury to punch scorpion in the face - scorpion wins
DAY 4 : live long enough to make a stone pickaxe - start to collect wood on weird shaped tree - tree turns around and eats me * note to self T-rex is not a tree
DAY 5 : running from raptors jump into a lovely looking pond of water - crocodile dino is waiting for me and I am his lunch

THE PROS-

This game has the potential to be a very amazing game. The vast world is crawlling with many types of animals and dinos to do you harm and give you an adventure. While the crafting system is not explained well it works like many of the other surival games out there so anyone with any sort of skill should be able to pick it up quickly and be able to start hacking away and building. The development team has been trying to update and fix many of the launch issues which is a plus and aswell as staying active on twitter for updates.

THE CONS-
-optimization is terrible and playability is really low but these are issues that almost all EA games face on day 1 launch this one just happend to be exceptionally bad
-No server save list or add to favorites
- display prompts look like a childs first painting and could benefit from looking much more refined or maybe even moved to the bottom -when throwing a spear at a mammonth im not reading what is happening on the top of my screen i am aiming in the middle .

I recommend this game to anyone who wants to watch a pile of crap become a beautiful rose
