i cant give a review on why i love this game cus idfk why but HOLY GOD ITS FUN

Fun game, has some replay value with the multiple endings, Curly Story, and the challenges. Has some achievements for you to grind eventually, and you can even try a run without HP upgrades (3HP whole game).
Honestly, you are likely to be playing for a bit of a while. I can recommend due to the increase of content compared to the original freeware version of Cave Story, but I don't know if it's worth the price of $14.99, but it was worth the half off price of around $7.49. Pick it up during the sales, but maybe not worth $15.

It's fun, but can get stale easily. Public lobbies nowadays are (mostly) either horny people, or not the smartest people, makes it a bit less fun. But man, with a coordinated group of friends/discord people who know what they're on, it's actually a fun game.

If you have the people around you to play it with you, I'd say consider. If not though, it might not be worth it considering the state of publics, and discords for the game being less active (due to the game's dying).

Good game, has a lot of content! Outside of the 21 offline levels, you have (practically) infinite online levels to play, and achievements to grind!
