Excellent puzzle platformer / metroidvania. The attention to detail is astonishing and the depth of puzzles seemingly has no limit! If you take the time to absorb the information around you, this is a very rewarding journey.

So much fun with friends, excellent replayability and with the latest skills update, a lot of unlockable fun! Would recommend to anyone who enjoys roguelikes and shooting tons of stuff!

My new favorite game, without a doubt!

A Hat in TIme is Excellent. Its engaging plotline and memorable characters had me hooked from the first second to the last. No single moment in the game felt like a chore, and I never got enough of it.

The artstyle is unique and adds to the overall lighthearted feel of the game extremely well. The soundtrack is fantastic and extremely memorable, and the participation of famous composer Grant Kirkhope really ties it all together perfectly.

A Hat in TIme is not very difficult to beat per-se, but finding all collectibles and achieving that 100% completion can take some more effort, as the more advanced sections can be quite challenging.

This 3D platfoming collectathon really nails down the controls perfectly. They feel responsive, are easy to use and offer a huge range of ways from getting from from 1 place to another, if you are willing to practice! This is a staple concept in this genre of game, and A Hat in Time manages to execute it to a tee.

I only ave one gripe with A Hat in TIme, it's that there is not more of it! I have played the whole game through about 4 times now and it still felt fresh. Nothing beats the first-time playthrough though. It is simply magical watching how much humour and inventiveness was crammed into every single level.

Thankfully though, with the recent release of modding support out of beta and the promise of an upcoming NewGame+ mode as wel as couch and online co-op, I have certainly not finished playing this game!

Also the speedrunning community is very active and speedrunning in itself is fully supported in-game if you're into that sort of thing.
