I recommend this game to people that want a more serious farm ville without the time required to make or grow stuff. It's a Niche game to the casual gamer The combat is the weak point of the game but I feel the combat is more as a story/grinding element not an exciting... Kratos versus Zeus caliber of awesomeness. And for what this game is trying to be it's fine as is. The only issue with combat is you know when you are too high level for an area because you can't "Get out there and find your own battle style!" More like "Get out there and love tap adversaries dead!" I Picked normal difficulty because this is my first Atelier game ever. I won't say it will be my last just not what I was expecting tbh.

Outside of combat, the games story seems cliche the MC needs to prove herself trope. Everyone doubts her except the chief and her closest allies. Everyone seems to forget Yumia is a hot, young, goddess in the game, and just go "Ew you're an alchemist! Go away!" The game makes sure you know Yumia is a cutie, complete with curves and decent eye candy to look at grabbing the 200th flower. The story is bled into the open world in a common yet unique way.
If I was to categorize this game in the type of game it is I'd say this is a simple, casual, Tales of game with worse combat... but makes it up with the crafting system.
If I were to categorize this game on when/how I'd play this game it'll be something to play after an intense gaming session, something relaxing not too serious outside of story bits, and something to play while out and about the game is resource heavy so Steam deck and Ally you still need your portable charger.

This game isn't beginner gamer friendly imo the controls during combat on PC is very WTF syndrome... Specifically when you want to use Crafted magic abilities vs normal skills.

There's no Censorship I've noticed but even if there was the devs show off Yumia assets well in cutscenes and basically make sure the game itself has no bold fan service. And plus I can play DOAXVV if I want that.

The performance for an anime game with good enough visual fidelity is kinda surprisingly odd if I run it once it won't have the same smoothness if I restart it a second or third time... 60 FPS is the goal and on an i7-8700k and RTX 3080 12GB and 32GB DDR4 should be destroying this game... but not always. Since I can see Yumia in 4k it makes it worth it.

Simple straight to the point sexy fun! This is the third game made by mr.zed games! And as always it's a banger Pun intended! xD This game features sexuality openness you can be gay, straight, somewhere in between, trans lover, strapon queen, femdom slut, and the possibilties are endless since you don't to have sex with certain enemies to activate certain sex moves since you can start your own favorites!

At it's core:

This a beat'em up game with added sexual encounters if you get beat or if you tease the enemy or if you grab the enemy or if you just submit. Sex feels consensual just forced which is fine. The sounds are nice they moan and groan, and have throat sounds with moans that sounds like the mouth is being used for the oral pleasures and the other party not performing oral will moan like normal(he attention to detail is appreciated! The sex has normal sex sounds like smacking as normal. The quality of the animations are pretty good I only wish the jiggle animations were a bit better(on the boobs and butt) theirs little to no awkwardness the cumshots are the only awkwardness I really noticed(they go thru the models not a deal breaker for me since the games graphics are kinda basic in a good way)

I simple I asked for third person mode because the protag was kinda hot dev did it I buy its great! short but fun! :)
They added outfits as well they are worth getting to support the dev works :D
The game isn't flawless but it damn sure is far from bad.

Story is like L4D2 its thereish but not really
Only progression you get is by being a ♥♥♥♥♥... (You get spells for being a lvl 69 ♥♥♥♥♥) I mean cool but also what?
Any changes the protag gets is completely ignored by 90% of the game which is a HUGE no.
Hot enemies still use generic CG to ♥♥♥♥ you... If you wanted a hot bee lady to ♥♥♥♥ laven well then unless its a death animation (for that One specifically) then ♥♥♥ you!
No lesbian content either... I mean why not scissor and then find out you are impregnated?
This game feels like a kid going to the amusement park for the first time seeing the lights the rides the games etc. Its like heaven this is what the art work for the enemies were creative and well crafted then BOOM 20 years later that kid WORKS for said amusement park... yea its fun but not the same way and eventually you will get bored this is what it feels like the combat was treated the quality went from ♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome to why am I see this again but in different color when I can watch this hot bee lady play with laven?

Update: After beating the game I did run into some lesbian scenes and futa Laven scenes. There's a few really good ones though they are not like the decent gif animated ones the image is fine with me. It's nice to see the scenes where you don't magically lose your futa atanomy lol. The lesbian content was more like a little bit a tease still like to see it was there.
Some enemies have fallen scenes.(meaning you have to lose a battle or surrender.
I only seen alien enemies have a mid battle sex scene 2 of them do those are good I need more of that and more like the main thing and not a chance of seeing it.
My overall view of this game is this is an unfinished beta to it's good enough. The dev also included art work of artist that made art of Laven and included links to their work. And the dev still working on it while working on a new game. As a nsfw game I still don't recommend it The art work is incredible for what it is, but it sucks so little enemies have fallen scenes or mid battle sex scenes featuring them taking part in ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Laven.

Quick review:
5 Bucks for easily imo 20 worth for content that slowly rolled out since release. This game came out in 2020 here it is 2022 and there's STILL content coming. You play as "senpai" or "senpai friend" your goal is to figure out the code to the safe while avoiding Saiko/Elena. This game is kinda left for dead like when it comes to the story mostly its just here's the scenario now survive. With that said there's enough bits to the main story to figure out. This is about a girl that has multi-personality disorder that will "Snap" to protect or hurt those(if she loses control) close to her. It's also about the person that went through the trama of loving someone like that.

The thing I like most about this game is the difficulty modes offer 100% a different experience with different behavior of the yandere. When you get bored of one mode just switch modes and the fun is back. I really like the thought of difficulty modes changing the normal experience RE7 touched on it. this game ran with it! xD

So I have a theory of the story on this game. I'll start from beginning to finish.

Saiko No Sutoka.

Yandere mode(Easy mode draw distance is maxed and the school is bright everything is easy to see)
"Senpai friend" returns to school hearing Saiko saying "I'll be right back" as he enters the school after hours. The school is deafeningly quiet. The ambiance of nothing but his footsteps makes him hesitate a bit, but as muster the courage to continue on he goes upstairs. "Senpai" must be somewhere in the school the headmasters office has the caerma system monitor maybe I'll find him there. As he checked the locked door he is surprised by Saiko knowing why he's there without uttering a word to her. Frightened he listens to her. "Are you looking for 'Senpai' he isn't in there!" she says "Follow me!" She leads him to empty classroom after empty classroom. Till eventually he pushes her down saying "Enough!" She softly mutters "It hurts! I cannot allow it. I cannot allow it." She raises to her feet with a blank look. "Oh I think he's in the kitchen! Let's go check it out together!" with no emotion or life behind those words she walked toward the kitchen. When they both get there She raises a knife to him almost cutting him. He ran as fast as he could till he was tired he turned back there was no sign of her. After seeing the coast was clear he breathed a sigh of relief. He snuck back to the front door to only realize it was locked. Panic started to settle in once he heard laughter in the distance. The voice was familiar but this time it had purpose in the laughter it as Saiko! After looking around he noticed someone with a gas mask on peeking around the corner as he approached the masked person started walking towards him wearing saiko clothes and had a knife! "No way this is Saiko!" He thought too himself. He ran around the schooltrying to find the headmasters key but he eventually found it in D2(Randomly spawns in the school in game)Happily he rushed to the head masters office when he noticed he was getting weaker and weaker. Coughing and breathing heavily he put in the code into the safe to get the key. He found the code on boards in the locked classrooms and remember the numbers. The safe opens revealing the exit key. He rushed out of the office and downstairs when he heard another glass bottle breaking as he exited. (Good ending:)Coughing and outside he takes a breath and smiles laughing as if he wants to forget about what happened as he puts his hands in his pockets and walks off to only get a glass jar hitting him on the head knocking him out. (Sleep/bad ending)He wakes up tied to a chair as Saiko wearing a different outfit and nearly completely different looks entirely walks up to him laughing with an extremely twisted sounding laugh and she chops his head off. Saiko pleased with herself put the body in a locker and the head in a cabinet. "Senpai friend" is dead.

This game is good. Also not what I expected or wanted. This game is like death stranding the early trailers hinted at a very story rich Horror game and what we got is something different which in this case is watered down devil may cry like fps shooter. I'll do a quick breakdown.

Pros:
The game looks amazing! It's near photo realistic but not quite which is fine! The visuals on the powers are nice. The story is good enough from the 20-30 mins I've played. The theoretical (in my case) amount of effort for $60 feels fine there's lots to obtain from the skills so I imagine the game is very expansive from that. The beginning enemies are the umbella people we seen from the first trailer I just got the wrong impression from the trailer.

Cons:
Different game than I was expecting. The first trailer and what we got is like Nissan advertising an Altima then the vehicle comes out and its a Ford F-150 like its still a vehicle but when was it a truck and from ford O.o. Also after finishing the hospital level I stopped after getting to the sister honestly I felt disappointed. It feels like what RE8 did which was look at Far cry 5 where you have the main bad person then the sub bosses and went "How can I copy-paste this idea?" And tbh it's exactly feeling similar to FC5 I assume after you get done with the beginning bs it's slowly taking back the city. in FC5 its taking bases. Idk seems oddly similar.

Other info: You have stealth elements that's honestly similar to Evil within and tbh I think the EW devs worked on this some visuals looks very virtual world like. You have elemental powers and skills to improve yourself. And your task is to save your sister in which you have to kill the main boss main forces which is 2-3 other people. And you are Japanese Sora from kingdom hearts if it was renamed to kingdom souls and no its not a souls type game it is a game about saving people souls well that's more the objective of the special entity that gives your character powers. I recommend this game closer to $40 but the game is well enough optimized and efforts make it worth $60.

I like this game a lot the girls are super cute! I don't know how to access the "Debug" room, but it seems just before steam had its great adult games transition dev was todl to take it down idk where it is...

This game should surpass dead by daylight Not because of content/boob physics/How polished it is or will be but it should because the expansion of gameplay dead by daylight currently or inevitably will have... Here the expansion of the game play isn't just small minimum changes or things that should be there by default <which is dead by daylight survivor perks... It's healing teammates with out needing to find a med kit I mean it works for DBD but its pure chance. Here your psyche(Yes you have mental health to worry about) determines your abilities and how or if they work. Is that better? maybe not but you recover by doing generat... Nope not here! Here you repair mystical elemental stones! So you recover mental health by completing objectives. Physical health is a 2 second bite of noodles or teammates can use spells to heal you. You have plenty of power ups to help you as survivor(Soul Dossiers) I don't play the fiends but it seems balanced enough though I only played for like 5 hours. I think the only thing holding this game back is possibly the same as dbd really I'd imagine repairing elemental stones would get old to me but the animations are well done and the character models look nice. So I might find fun in baiting the killer. Especially considering I don't have to time pallets or trying to environmentally 1-up them... that and a real english patch xD

Pretty fun bit expensive but can earn everything from what I can tell so no issue!

Overwatch but free and more buggy BUT more creativity
