If Factorio is the king of 2D factory building, Satisfactory is undoubtedly the king of 3D factory building. The game plays great, looks beautiful, has some light hints of plot, and gives you almost unlimited creative freedom in building your factory (or anything that isn't at all related to your factory).

Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys the factory building genre.

While the story is an absolute incoherent fever dream, Death Stranding really is a unique experience that you have to play to understand. The game properly opens up in episode 3, and it's well worth playing until you get there.

Like many others you'd be forgiven for thinking this is 'just a walking simulator', but the game opens up to being so much more than that. It involves strategy, stealth, combat, resource management, and building infrastructure. The game goes from walking simulator, to shooter, to horror, to Euro Truck Simulator, to Assassin's Creed and back again. Death Stranding manages to juggle all these different genres just enough to remain interesting from start to finish.

You're constantly introduced to new equipment and mechanics until well into the endgame, keeping the gameplay fresh and interesting. The unique way 'multiplayer' is implemented also means that even though you're traversing the world alone, you always feel like you're playing in a world with other players.

Truly a unique experience. Keep on keeping on.

Mediocre.

That's probably the best description for Starfield. It's mediocre in pretty much everything it does. Starfield tries to do a lot of things and it does them all badly. Same boring planets, same boring quests, same boring characters, over and over again. There's nothing in this game that truly makes it unique. I'm 50 hours in and I can't be bothered to finish it. It's that boring.

I fell in love with this story and its characters many years ago. Experiencing the story again with these gorgeous graphics and updated gameplay has really brought back my love for this game. I paid full price for it in a heartbeat and I don't regret it. It also comes with Left Behind DLC included, as well as a ton of extras like behind the scenes footage, game commentary, a model viewer, new game+ mode, speedrun mode, and cheat modes.

I can't speak to the performance issues many have been having, though. I had maybe four crashes throughout the game, but other than that the game has run at a solid 60+ fps for the entire playthrough with no notable issues at all. I play at 1080p on a GTX1080ti on high settings.

Excellent platforming adventure game. Great setting and narrative. And you play a cat, what's not to like? Serious game of the year contender.

Very relaxing game with an amazing soundtrack. Various options give you the freedom to create your own experience, from zero pressure relaxing shipbreaking, to time limits, oxygen drain, and competitive leaderboards if you like a speedrunning challenge.

If you liked Subnautica, you'll like Below Zero. It's basically more of the same in a different area, with very little changes to the core gameplay. There's some new beasties, a few tiny additions to base building and more land based areas, but the classic Subnautica experience is mostly unchanged.

A beautiful game with a gripping story, and the best implementation of meaningful choices I've seen in a game so far. The story fully adapts to the choices you make along the way.

Sadly there isn't much in the way of gameplay. Other than making the choices, the game is not much more than a long sequence of obnoxious quicktime-events. They add very little outside of combat sequences, interupt otherwise well designed scenes and can cause you to go down a path you didn't intend simply by not being quick enough.

Worth the money if you're looking for a good, replayable story game. Not so much if you're looking for meaningful gameplay.
