The new empire size update has ruined the game. You are no longer rewarded for playing the game well via expansion - meaning pop growth, habitation, and adding pops are severely gimped now. The game is significantly less fun as it has now become an arbitrary tic-tac-toe game while consciously holding yourself back from becoming "stronger". Until they bring back a way to mitigate sprawl/empire size (like bureaucracy), the game is dead.

This game is too worthy for reviews.

A well done and continued lineage of the classic.
