Let me be clear here for a second before I crap on the game. I fell in love with the first one 2 years ago when I gave a go, and the changes this game made are changes I absolutely fell in love with almost immediately. New anomalies, new visuals, new models, I love it all. with time and love, this game will be a very very worthy successor to the first game. But this game is frustrating as hell even on high end hardware. I'm not entirely sure if there is a setting I have to enable, but I am getting audio bugs left and right, bad enough where the audio cuts out entirely. Within not even two hours it became clear to me that this was ITR1 but more at this time. I want to recommend this game so bad and I want to be comfortable enough to grab friends to play this game, but the state of the game discourages me to do so because of the amount of issues I managed to have for the first play through. It feels awkward to play because of how the body rigs work, and as a result, the gun play feels sluggish and has gotten me killed because of how awkward this version feels. I love the game, but I can't recommend this game to people right now when I have a hard time trying to reload a pistol.

Look at them rays being traced. Ray Tracing with Half Life 2 is something I wanted to see for a while, and this just reinforces my dream. The new effects and textures don't detract from the games original art style, making it feel like the remaster we deserve. Only thing missing at this point is a source 2 port of the game.

This game is really good. I was gonna wait for this game to go on sale before consider purchasing the game, however I ended up getting a free copy from a promotion at a computer store once I rebuilt my machine. Free or paid, this game in incredible, and is definitely a must buy.

Now that I completed the game, I can say its great through out my experience, but they missed a HUGE opportunity.
Co-op play, there are 2 spider men, why can't both play together? I get certain set pieces wouldn't work well with two players, but that's why story progression should be paused, and introduce new missions exclusive to Co-op that give sweet rewards for playing. If anyone disagrees with me, I would like to hear why.

As a stand alone game, its a lot of fun, scratching that itch of screwing around wasting time to kill aliens. As a saints row title, it doesn't live up to the legacy it was forged from. This isn't inherently a bad game, but its not what we should have gotten. Sharing almost the same mechanics from the last game, it plagued by issues burn out, and uninspired design. More over, it uses the same map, characters, and similar gimmicks. They barely tried to up the graphics quality from the last game as it, only adding moving wall textures to simulate a glitchy simulation. It is a good game, but it falls flat on its face when compared to previous entries.

In all accounts, its a fun time all around. Campaign is fun, Multiplayer is always the cluster ♥♥♥♥ its meant to be, and Zombies has been tweeked to bring in the pain more often then not.

Let me be clear here. The game looks fantastic, the gun play feels good, and the sound slaps hard. Though I see several issues with this game right off the bat. One of those being the lack of position changes and spawn camp prevention. I could name at least 13 times I was spawn camped back to back which isn't fun. On top of that, it feels like we should be able to interact with the map more than we can already. A huge example being I shot a stack of books in the house map, and it looked like I shot concrete, but no pages flying like I'd expect them to. Lots of nit picks, quite a few performance problems. I really want to recommend the game, but right now it isn't in the state I was hoping for. I'm gonna keep playing it though, because it is fun.
