Thank Goodness You're Here is a small, box-like open world filled with quests that generate all kinds of situations designed to make you smile—especially if you live in some random small town not far from the capital of Great Britain.

And that word "designed" is the most honest way to describe what actually happens in the game. Some humorous moments are soft and easy to understand, relying on good old wordplay for punchlines. Others are really, REALLY unexpectedly dark. Some are so crude I wanted to wipe my screen, and some are so hyper-local that it took me multiple Google searches to even grasp what the hell I’d just witnessed.

Still, it made me laugh hard several times—maybe several times more than I should have.

If you’re actually British, you’ll probably get way more out of it than I did. But at its core, this game is silly, easy to dive into, and exists purely to turn your brain off and let you roleplay in an interactive stand-up comedy sketch.

P.S. Poor fireplace guy…

almost 10$ for a game with such a bad UX is almost a crime.

The idea overall is great, but execution is poor. UI is misleading and non-informative, gameplay could be fun, but instead you play an action for 3-4 minutes and then you need to struggle for the next signal or event for a 10-15 minutes straight, boring yourself in the process.

ship management is awful, icons are non-informative, stats are non informative. Systems and stations feel lifeless, AI is dumb as ♥♥♥♥. Whole damn tutorial thing is just 10 pages of plain non formatted text. But of course, they made quick spiders as enemies. (along with dinosaurus for some reason).

It is much better to go and play space engineers again or void crew. =\

Not mentioned that the game is almost 3 years old (!) and the UI is still a piece of alpha-stage crap.
2-3$ would be an ok price for it.

It would actually be a really great game that can be called "D4 Killer", because it really is.

It is fun, quite intuitive to dive in, lots of builds that are highly customizable, effects are great, optimisation is top-notch, gameplay mechanics are awesome!

BUT

Several days since launch and the online mode is still freaking unplayable. Servers are burning, making your gameplay really FEEL LIKE you are playing Starfield. Almost 1\3 of my 28.9 hours of playing were spent in loading screens and disconnects.

I would like to say 'I understand' to the DEV team, but according to the reddit, development team knew about the possible issues with the online system, because first reports about it were received almost a year (!) ago. And if you try to say this inside the discord community, you will be kicked and banned, and they will say that 'they just deleting copy-paste spam'.

Not mentioned that senior developer is working as a community manager, kicking people and answering questions, instead of fixing damn servers. Extremely poor planning, extremely poor perfomance.

If the amount of negative reviews won't help the team to change their priorities, then this review is about to stay negative.

Go play offline if you really like the game, or just play something else until team is able to do something about their server backend.

Early Access Review
Died after panicking and falling down from the submarine stairs (breaking legs in the process) while being attacked by the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of mutated fish-people and a giant ass kraken, somewhere between 2 and 4 am in the middle of a working week. Has no regrets, 10\10 teamplay 'I DONT KNOW WHERE THE REACTOR IS' experience with colleagues. Reccomend.

The most epic freerunner+zombie action, surprisingly fun and awesome to play with friends.

Graphics 10 big guys with stone clubs out of 10
Audio 10 heart attacks during the night out of 10
Control 8 buttonmashes to find the way how to jump-glide out of 10
Narrative 10 local psychos out of 10

Summary:
9,8 gun-waggin' fun with friends, especially during the real life quarantine!
And I'm have not even run through the half of the game yet.

Маленький мальчик, убивающий слезами монстров везде, от подвала до утробы матери-дьяволицы? Это Айзек, ребята. И это эпик.

Еще никогда Magic: The Gathering не был таким реальным, сложным и захватывающим.
