So far the missions are ok, but has some of the worst level designs I have ever seen. Couple that with the dead ass "city" and it's a no from me. All I heard was this game is more alive than starfield, and its....not. Follow an NPC for a minute. They just walk in circles, and you cant talk to anyone or buy anything from the 1000 street vendors or do anything other than whats scripted. Treat is as a linear game and its fun, but its the worst "open world" game I have played in a while.

Never thought I would like a factory building game, figured I would get a few hours out of it and move on but I cant stop playing it. It's become one of my all time favorites!

There is room for improvement for sure, but I am enjoying this game quite a bit. A lot of the negative reviews seem to be bug related, I get losing a kit to a bug or crash can be frustrating (happened to me a few times) but we cant forget this is a work in progress and its a chance we all took with it being the dreaded "Early Access". I initially tried FSR (recommended by friends) and while I got more frames, it crashed often. Switched to DLSS (I have a 2080) and haven't crashed since (53 hours and counting).

The base game, POI's, gunplay are all great but what makes this game stand out in the genre to me is the factions. I have had a lot of fun running to help/being helped by a random faction member. Its very cool starting a high level area solo, and by the end its a 5-6 person group that has come across each other and cleared it together.

What needs work right now gameplay wise is the key system, the helicopters, and the AI. A lot of the quests are gated by finding keys on AI. There are a few keys that just don't drop enough. I have cleared one POI ten times and never found the key to progress one quest (had to parkour off a roof and into a window to get past that one lmao). But if you ask in camp for the key you need a lot of time people will have it and go with you to open the door (or you can get lucky and its open when you get there).

The helicopter system doesn't tilt me as much as it seems to others, but it does need work. The wait times can be WAY too long and its almost a mini game in itself to get a chopper as one disappears off the map.

Overall the AI is fine, but there are random times they take a whole mag to down or after taking down one AI (with a suppressor) another that you can not see will 1 tap you from god knows where. I have had good luck taking one down and immediately repositioning/taking it really slow (you try to play it like COD and you will die)

Overall I am loving this game and am excited for its future.

One of the best games of all time. It starts a little slow but once you get out of the snowy mountains its amazing

Probably the worst combat in any game ever, not only is it clunky, its super boring.

I tried to like this, but it was simply not fun. Looks great though and I have heard it gets better after like 5 hours, but I couldn't make it that far.

A Step up in every way over the original Slapshot, so much fun!

I played this in the beta a couple years ago and it didnt connect with me but coming back to it in 2020 it has been really fun! It has turned into exactly what I wanted out of "Multiplayer fallout" the world now feels more alive and like a fallout game, and its really cool to be able to go through it with someone else.

Super fun, Red is always sus though

When I bought the Vive back in 2016 this is what I had in mind, glad its finally here. Far better and more fun than any other VR game I have played.
