Isometric Darksouls with randomisation on item spawns.

An absolute breath of fresh air to the souls-like genre and great to find a game that's challenging, which is rare these days.

Cons

• Doesn't respect your time.
  
• Badged as early access despite being built on top of a 12+yr old established game by a multi-million company.
  
• Terrible customer service.
  
• Overly complicated for the sake of it, combined with drawn out content and ridiculous grinds.
  
• Relies on a trade website tool in 2025 and trading to progress reasonably. Trade is bot dominated with nothing to keep the trade market stable.
  
• Despite the EA coming with a price tag, you pretty much have to buy basic things like storage. Overpriced Mtx.
  
• Poorly designed itemisation and loot drops for a loot-based game.
  
• Boring campaign with an uninteresting story that you have to play twice each play-through (currently)

Pro's

• Good combat.
  
• Decent graphics and animations.
  
• Nice hideout system.
  
• There are other ARPG's to play.

Unique skill and pet skill system
Challenging
Beautiful Zones
Solid base for a story
Good OST and great VA

Cons:
Needs optimisation improvements
Difficulties need tuning and condensing
No Character creation customisation (only cosmetics)
Maps feel too big for the amount of mobs, often making the OST feel repetitive

It's like Pokémon....if Pokémon was good.
It looks like BOTW, but it's not BOTW.
It plays like Valheim, but with Pokemon instead of Norsk mythology creatures.
It's also a bit like Rust and Arc, because they are survival games.

Airship Syndicate are turning this game into a completely different game - it's no longer the live service mmo that they promised. The entire game is changing and all previous purchases are basically being made non-existent.

All progress is being lost, the servers are going down, it's an absolute joke. They have badged this as an 'update; called Wayfinder Echoes, but really it is a completely different game to what was purchased.

DO NOT BUY.

It's like GW2, but if GW2 was actually a good game. Also it's similar to GW1 in the sense that humans are the only playable race.

Pro's:
Solid combat
Great Graphics
Runs smoothly even in highly populated areas
Fun and a fresh take on the MMO genre

Con's:
The later half of levelling could do with some improvement.
Expertise when you hit 60 is a very long and boring one-off grind.
Group focused - no good for solo players unless you are willing to PUG.
